The hotel needs updating. Air conditioning unit leaked water. Fridge defrosted and left a puddle on the floor. Reception thought we was stay for two more days and had not paid in advance.

This property has no parking. Difficult to access the front desk to check in. The beds were hard as rocks. The AC was barely functional. I would NOT stay here again.

Cimfy and clean
The hotel is kept clean. The beds comfy. The pool area is lovely. And the pool bar is excellent serving good food and amazing cocktails. All staff throughout are loveky.

Cheap and cheerful, great location
Great location, you’re right on the strip yet our room was very well sound proofed so could not hear the all night partying if we went to bed! Small patio was nice. Towels had holes, double bed more like a small half double and very very hard!! Bathroom had black mould, hair and broken tiles but we treated as part of the experience. Had to ask for clean towels. Loved the pool bar.

Nice hotel with a lovely bar terrace
Lovely holiday for adults but not really suitable for children as not much to do but we were happy there as a couple. Rooms certainly need a make over and doors look old and neglected but very clean and fresh towels and bedding each day. Air conditioning could do with re gassing! Hotel staff were friendly enough when spoken too. Kalamaki a bit dull in day but comes alive at night. We would return

Lovely hotel, central, 10 mins from beach.
Really enjoyed my stay: loved the little pool bar with great breakfasts and lunch and cocktails. Bar staff very friendly and great characters. Light entertainment was enjoyable and not overwhelming. Great place and look forward to going back

We have been going there for a few years now. Every time everyone has always been friendly. Nothing is to much trouble. Large apartments and pool area. No complaints at all. Very good value. Free safe, aircon, hair drier, tv. If you have a late flight changing room and shower.

Stayed here for 5 nights, it wasn't luxury but perfectly adequate which is what I expected given the cost. The bar and pool area were nice and the room was spacious enough. Would definately recommend.

Good quality for the price
Its a very simple hotel, but it has everything you need, shower is big and has a curtain, balcony is huge, room has a kitchenette. Bar downstairs is very convinient, good cheap cocktails and decent breakfast, location is very central with lots of places to eat and little shops. There is no room service every single day and sometimes it gets a bit dirty in the room

Kalamaki Gem
The staff were friendly and helpful. Pool was clean and I swam in it everyday. Maid service was very good and our room was cleaned more regularly than advertised. It exceeded my expectations of a 2 star accommodation. I would stay again if I was ever in Kalamaki

The receptionist was rude. He wasn't prepared! The room door was very hard to open, it took 10 minutes which wasn't convenient.

Had a lovely room overlooking the pool which was next to the bar staff were helpful lovely bar next door for breakfast and snacks during the day and cheap cocktails of a night limited housekeeping but ample for our 11 day stay loved it would definitely book the hotel Vanessa again

Stayed at the Vanessa Hotel for 1 week. Hotel staff were very friendly, good customer service. Rooms cleaned, towels changed etc every 2 days. I stayed in Room 27 on the ground floor which was a very spacious 1 bedroom apartment with all facilities you would need. The balcony didn't really get any sun but this wasn't a problem as it was so hot, so good to sit in the shade at times.

Super value hotel in Kalamaki. Friendly staff, clean rooms, fantastic evening cocktails. What more could you want. A huge selection of nearby shops and restaurants and only a 10 minute walk to super sandy beaches.

Nice hotel central location
Excellent hotel friendly staff. Good facilities including wifi room safe and air con all included in price. Nice pool with lots of sunbeds.Bar served lovely breakfasts and snacks which were the envy of the strip. The girls were very efficient and nothing was any trouble. Our room request was met and had a lovely sunny balcony in the afternoon/evening. 10 mins from beach with large supermarket opposite. Restaurants are wide and varied with many to choose from tho our favourite was the one next door called Yamas. Highly recommend this hotel we are planning to go back.

The room was clean, maid came in every other day however the bathroom smelt quite damp and the pots/ knifes and forks were dirty-however this is easily fixable. Food was delicious in the hotel, big portions excellent cheap prices! 10-15 minute walk to kalamaki beach, 5-10 minute taxi to laganas beach and there was plenty f supermarkets/resturants/bars and gift shops. Safe, quiet, family hotel which was ideal for us as we had easy access to laganas night life but knew our hotel room was safe and somewhere we could get sleep!

Arrived early morning and by afternoon had upgraded free of charge to pool view room.The Vanessa may 'only' be 3 star but its lovely with 5 star staff.Food and beer prices outstanding value and quality to eat and drink.Imported beers like Stella Becks Bud 2 Euros approx £1.60!local Greek beer Mythos 2.5 Euros and FULL English breakfast with toast coffee orangejuice 4.3 Euros.Customer service by staff was outstanding.This hotel was the best value one I've possibly ever stayed in.Highly recommended and we hope to be back one day.
