We couldn't have chosen a more perfect place to stay for our first tike visiting than Kalamaki beach hotel. The staff were so friendly and welcoming. The room was perfect for us three and it was spacious enough for us girls. The balcony was huge and we had a great view of the ocean. We loved the hotel restaurants and pools! That was one of our favorite parts. The beach was also so lovely! It was sandy and very beautiful.

Very clean, good location for both the beach and main shopping / eating road. Only downside is that you can't have sun beds around the beach / beach bar area without paying extra, but around the pool is included. Very friendly staff and enjoyable breakfast.

This hotel is very well kept, rooms are spacious, shower is big, staff very attentive and happy. Beds are very comfy lots of space around pool area, a stones throw from the beach. All areas are clean and tidy. Fortunately we have a room with view. If you like planes your also on luck 😂

Excellent value, great location.

Our stay was in one of the semi-basement apartments for the last couple of days of our holiday in Zakynthos. Family of 6 so it was a bit tight but nice to be able to get one room as most hotels don’t offer accommodation for 6 together. Great location close to the sea. Nice pool - 2.7m deep! The kids really enjoyed that! Friendly, helpful staff, good facilities. Saw baby turtles going across the beach into the sea too! Breakfast was really nice, plenty of choice including cooked options, cereal and pastries.

The entire staff was extremely friendly and helpful, from the time we arrived (very early the first day) to the time that we left (very late the last day). If I could make two suggestions, they would be to 1) have a gift shop/mini market on site (and not send patrons to the hotel across the street)and 2) permit patrons to charge food and drinks to their rooms. Not a deal breaker, just a convenience suggestion.

Had a very enjoyable one night stay at Kalamaki Beach. Welcome was great and m shown to our room by the duty manager. The room was perfect for short stay. The bathroom was clean and functional. The pool area was quiet , clean and relaxing. The guy that runs the pool bar is very pleasant and friendly. We were moving on to another nearby hotel but offered that we could still come and use the pool and the snack bar. The location is perfect for an on the beach holiday but the rooms are set back a comfortable distance over several buildings. The breakfast was good and covered a wide option for diners. It was good to be able to sit outside and enjoy breakfast in the comfort of the veranda.

Nice property but everything was extra. Pool towels had to be paid for. Chairs on the beach weren’t included and cost money too as well as the chairs on the grassy area of the property. Those things should have been included in your stay instead of you being hunted down by the chair enforcers.

Great location and place.

Had a great time at this lovely hotel. Everything according to our expectations. A bit funny and at times disturbing w the airport so close. But we got used to airplanes flying low above us on the beach.

Everything you could ever want from a beachfront resort and then some. Staff, facilities, geography, transfer (ha ha) absolutely 1st class. Unless your looking for a party place with music and dancing then go to laganas Based on this review, happy holidays in kalamaki beach resort. I won’t mention the planes!

Great stay - would stay again.

This hotel is by far the best in the area. It was beyond what I thought it would be. They have clearly taken a lot of effort in keeping this hotel up to date and modern as the last time I visited was over 27years ago and most of the hotel looks brand new. The pool was super clean at all times. The only thing I think they should improve on is having tea and coffee in the rooms and also changing towels everyday rather than every other. If those two things were improved this would have been a 5/5 stay. Having the opportunity to walk straight out of your room to go to the pool or beach is really rare in this area.

Wir waren insgesamt sehr zufrieden mit unserem Aufenthalt. Besonders das Empfangspersonal war ausgesprochen freundlich und hilfsbereit. 😊 Etwas enttäuschend war lediglich das eher kleine Frühstücksbuffet. Negativ aufgefallen ist uns außerdem eine Mitarbeiterin an der Poolbar: Wir hatten Getränke am nahegelegenen Strand gekauft und wurden von ihr aufgefordert, diese entweder sofort wegzuwerfen oder aufs Zimmer zu bringen. Da auf dem Hotelinserat auch der Strand bzw. das Restaurant abgebildet ist, war für uns nicht eindeutig ersichtlich, dass dort gekaufte Getränke nicht mitgenommen werden dürfen. Die beiden anderen Mitarbeiter an der Poolbar waren hingegen immer sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Insgesamt hatten wir dennoch einen sehr schönen Aufenthalt und würden das Hotel weiterempfehlen.

Ich hatte einen wirklich tollen Aufenthalt. Das Frühstück war ausgezeichnet – es gab eine sehr große Auswahl und alles war frisch und lecker. Das gesamte Personal war unglaublich freundlich und hilfsbereit. Besonders die Mitarbeiter an der Rezeption haben sich viel Mühe gegeben. Obwohl mein Check-out sehr früh am Morgen war, war trotzdem jemand da, um mir zu helfen. Auch der Pool war sauber und sehr schön. Insgesamt war einfach alles perfekt. Was man allerdings bedenken muss ist das Zakynthos sehr sehr teuer ist. Unter anderem bezahlt man da auch mal 31 Euro für eine Taucherbrille. Und Taxis sind auch sehr teuer für eine Strecke von 8 Minuten (von dem Hotel bis zum Flughafen Zakynthos) sollte man mit min 20 Euro rechnen.

Super hyggeligt hotel. Rigtig god morgenmad. Super skønne faciliteter, ikke særligt langt til stranden. Rengøring hver anden dag. Vi har været super glade for vores ophold her.

Det var et pænt og rent værelse. Lidt udfordringer når man var i bad med vand over det hele. Svært at indstille temperaturen på vandet. Morgenmad var lidt kedeligt. Men et fantastisk personale, som var yderst hjælpsomme. Tæt på stranden.

Mon séjour était vraiment incroyable! Dès mon arrivée, tout le personnel a été extrêmement gentil et accueillant. Après seulement une journée, on avait presque l’impression de faire partie de la famille tellement l’ambiance était chaleureuse. L’hôtel est magnifique, très propre et super bien entretenu. La piscine était vraiment belle et toujours impeccable, ce qui rendait l’expérience encore plus agréable. Le buffet était bon — ce n’était peut-être pas le meilleur que j’ai eu, mais il y avait quand même énormément d’options pour tous les goûts, donc c’était très facile d’y trouver quelque chose qu’on aime. Oui, les avions passent près de l’hôtel et peuvent être assez bruyants à l’extérieur, mais honnêtement, une fois dans la chambre, c’était parfaitement correct et on n’entendait presque rien. Je recommande vraiment cet hôtel pour l’ambiance, le service et la qualité générale du séjour!

Dejligt hotel meget direkte adgang til strand.

Fint værelse med stor solfyldt altan. Stranden er super fin - sandstrand, der ikke er overfyldt med mennesker. Pool-området fungerer fint, men venligt personale i pool-baren.

Uitstekend niet al te groot hotel. Volgens mij recent gemoderniseerd. Alle ruimtes en onze kamer waren modern ingericht, netjes en schoon. Airco in de kamer. Geen overbodige luxe. Ontbijtbuffet is goed en er is genoeg keuze. Op het terrein is een eigen zwembad met leuke poolbar waar je ook goed kan eten. 1 minuut lopen naar ligweide met strandstoelen parasols en Taverna recht aan het strand. Ook heel fijn om daar te zitten. Alle restaurants en basr van Kalamaki op loopafstand. Hele rustige oase in een verder wel heel erg toeristische omgeving die vooral is gericht op engelse gasten die veel bier dirnken en van voetbal houden. Landingsbaan van het vliegveld ligt naast het hotel. Elk uur een paarvliegtuigen, maar niet echt storend. Tip voor verbetering: Verse jus bij het ontbijt en koffie- theefaciliteiten in de kamer maakt he helemaal af. Poolbar later sluiten voor eten, bijvoorbeeld om 20.00 uur of het restaurant aan de voorkant aantrekkelijker maken. Was nu wel wat erg rustig daar. Hele fijne vakantie gehad.
