"Room with a very beautiful view. Very tranquil. It’s across the other side of the lake so you would have to take transport (ferry / bus) over to the hotel after arriving at sun moon lake. "The Block House exceeded expectations. The staff was so friendly, it felt like staying at a dear friend’s house, a really nice house, like the house from Parasite. Every morning, the staff prepared a beautiful western breakfast and every afternoon, tea and cake. On our last day, we had to leave early and the staff prepared our breakfast ‘to go’ and placed it in our fridge. One of the best overnight experiences we’ve had due to the attentiveness of the service."

"This is a small family run hotel. The hotel is located about 1km from the Shuishe pier and was a easy walk along the lake via the pedestrian bikeway. We selected a double room with a view of the lake. The room was very nice and quite large. It was clean and had screens to keep the bugs out if you wanted fresh air.
