"Great view! Clean and basic, but fabulous restaurant nextdoor"

"This is a small and cozy hotel (motel by American standards). Everything was very clean, the staff was very attentive, and the views were excellent. We had a very tasty dinner in the restaurant. The breakfast spread was delicious. There were breads, pastries, meats, eggs, cheeses, juices and an amazing expresso machine. All was included with the room. The location is excellent for exploring some of Iceland’s stunning views. I recommend planning on spending more than one day to explore the region. My only complaint was it was too cloudy to see the Northern Lights… We should have stayed longer!"

"While we were excited to be in Iceland to take in the landscape and sights, Hotel Budir was a whole experience in itself. It’s absolutely beautiful reminding us of a high-end inn with that is warm and inviting. Every one of the staff members from reception to the bartenders, to the chef were kind and drinks and food were nothing short of 5 star. The outside was just majestic with views of the sea and mountains. We only stayed here 2 nights, celebrating our 10 yr anniversary. But my husband kept saying how perfect everything was and I couldn’t have agreed more! We can’t see us returning to Iceland and not coming back to hotel Budir."

"The room is pretty clean, (Spotless) it has nice kitchen Amenity. Three Coffee Pots (which is excellent). I only drink instant coffee and I need a bigger pot for making my instant Caramel Macchiato coffee. We only used the room for one night to rest (For Kirkjufell waterfalls and Aurora Borealis Photography) The room is sufficient enough for one night."
