"Advertised as a hotel … NOT a hotel!
This was probably once a nice motel with a restaurant attached but it is now a basic motel -,at best. The restaurant is permanently closed according to staff. Property run down and grubby.
The bed was comfortable which was the only good thing about it.
Shower door is old wood door that does not close properly due to swelling. Fridge/kitchen is actually part of bathroom/hand basin area.
Pool looked clean, but was small and cold. Gardens and landscaping are neglected.
Clearly a run down and poorly maintained property."

"INCREDIBLE STAY! We rented this beautiful property with family in the lead up to our wedding and it was absolutely perfect. So many thoughtful touches, sufficient supply of delicious food and wine to enjoy. Very close to everything in the Barossa! We will definitely be back. Can’t rave about it enough. Thank you! "

"Positives: Friendly hosts. Neat cabin. Quiet rural location. Breakfast cereals and milk supplied by host. Clean bedding and towels supplied. Air Conditioner and heating unit.Negatives: External toilet and shower facilities which if it is raining you get wet everytime you visit the bathroom. Bugs a spiders galore inside the cabin. Photos misleading, cabin is not on the water front. Very steep decent from road to cabin to water front. Holes in cabin verandah roof so rain poured into our shoes which were left under the verandah. Lots of farm rubbish left around river access area. Slightly over priced accommodation, given the issues already mentioned."
