I went to Korea for the first time solo and this place was just what I needed: a place to sleep. I’m rarely ever in the room so I just wanted something basic and affordable to sleep. I got the 2 twin bed room and it was a perfect size for me. Yes the place is a bit dated and old and you can tell they just patch work some of the things falling apart like the walls and floor. But overall it’s decent if you want an affordable stay. Toliet and shower are separate which in Korea is hard to find. Usually it’s together in one closed room so the floor is always wet when you use the toliet but not here. It even has AC, tv and fridge. Close enough to myeongdong shopping street just across the street. About less than 10 min walk. In a small alleyway but still very safe to go to even at night as a solo female traveler. Next to a lot of restaurants. Staff was nice and helpful. They even had a scale for me to weigh my luggage. Would stay here again if I’m doing solo trip again in Seoul. Also has a bus station that takes you straight to the airport. Just look for the sign 6001 sotetsu splasir myeongdong just at the end of the block. Costs 17,000 cash

Great place to stay! I forgot my jacket, came back and got it (maybe a sign that I should come back). Great staff! Good hotel! Feels like a home! This is my second stay here!

The property was clean and easy to stay. Rooms are quite small and building is getting a bit dated for the price we paid but it worked out fine for our need. Rooms were clean and it is very close to train. You can take the AREX all stops directly from ICN very easily. I would stay here again if need be.
