"I would give a 6 star!!"
Fantastic and unforgettable experience in FIJI. All hotel stuff are coming from the near by village which make you feel like living in a big family. Sea food provided free charge, drink for free, activity for free (included in the hotel price). Again, I would give a 6 star if there is an option.

"It was my third stay in Fiji and it was the best. "
We have been to Fiji before and we know what we like, I personally work in hospitality and have to say that the staff was amazing. There was plenty of activities every day to choose from. The corals on this island are one of the most colorful that I have ever seen. The food was very tasty as it most of the time was catch of the day so very fresh as well we got treated to a traditionally cooked octopus and last night we even got lobster. I would definitely recommend this resort as it has beautiful corals to snorkel and a short ride in the kayak to a totally secluded beach with white sand and aquamarine water. Get there by the sea plane and save your self hustle on the 6 hour ride on the boat and the view from the plane is priceless. Would definitely go back. Would not recommend it to people who are stuck up snobs as it is not a 5 star hotel. Just amazing holiday we had here. Anna and John

Viwa Island Resort - Viwa Island Hotels

"A place to return"
We visited Viwa Island to celebrate our honeymoon and we believe we selected the best place to toast this special event. We spent 6 days in this wonderful hotel and we would readily extend our stay if circumstances permitted. We are rather fastidious travelers with sufficient experience with tropical islands so it is tough to impress us, but these guys did! Transportation There are two options to get to the island from the mainland: by plane or by ferry. We selected the ferry provided by Awesome Adventures Fiji as it was the cheapest option. The total trip time is around 3 hours (2.5 by ferry and 0.5 by speed boat). Room Rooms are spacious with many windows, fans and aircon. All rooms have sea view and large terrace with comfortable chairs. I love having a bathroom combined with a small garden, so I was very happy to see it in this hotel. The room condition was decent, very clean and housekept twice a day to a very high standard (including regular flowering of bed area). Each room is also equipped with assigned sunbeds and hammock – both on the beach. Beach The beach is incredible! It is long and gorgeous with crisp white sand and sparkling azure water. There are no rocks in the water enabling easy access into the water even at low tide. We enjoyed swimming near the beach especially at high tide. There are array of corral spots adjacent to the beach (circa 100m) for sea life encounters. There is also a very nice snorkeling in front of the main lobby and free daily trips

"Real Fiji experience"
From when we first hopped on the transfer boat and the beach Botaira was one of my favourites. The welcome and main hunt just completely what you want a FIJI to be. Homely, friendly, welcoming and traditional. The staff are lovely and sang through each of our meals. The gave a great concert on the first night with traditional singing and dance. The beach front villa was very large with beautiful Fiji pattern painted on the high ceiling. I had a nice bathroom and hot water in the evenings and a fridge. They provide fresh water in the room daily and had a good selection of free activates and even though at dinner there were a few guests you felt like that the whole place was just yours. We did a village visit and this is well worth it. Snorkelling and swimming is good as is many places in Fiji. I did not want to leave and I would return in a heart beat.

"Little hut on the beach"
Beautiful views from your bure but the accommodation is very rough and rustic which is part of its charm. We are an older couple and not quite used to the rough accommodation but so enjoyed the beach, snorkeling, eating outside and the commraderie of other guests. We were by far the oldest there but we really enjoy hanging out with young people and had a really good time. The meals were very average though and there was not a lot of variety. We were told that the barge that brings food was late and they were running out of food. The drinks they served at happy hour were probably watered down as they had no taste whatsoever and were not that cheap. The meal plan they charge is $75FJ per day which I think is too high. Overall we liked it but will likely chose another island to stay with better meals if we ever go back to Fiji.
