"My biggest complaint is that our room wasn’t super clean when we arrived. There were a few empty cosmetic bottles on the floor but everything else was fine. I also found the bed to be too firm. Positively, the hotel is in a convenient location! Less than a 10 minute walk from Holy Donut and less than 20 from Tandem. They kept snacks stocked in the lobby and there was always an attendant in the lobby."

"This hotel gets the job done; it’s not the most up-to-date hotel but the room and hotel in general were clean, there’s free parking, the price was competitive (hotels less than 5 mins away were $100+ more/night just because they were only a couple of mins closer to the Old Port), it was quiet at night, and let’s be honest, who stays in a hotel room during the majority of vacation anyway? I’d definitely stay here again!"

"Nice pool in the basement. They should put a clock on the wall- not everyone brings their phones to a hotel swimming pool. The staff were uniformly friendly and helpful. Be sure if intersted in art to visit the very pleasant Portland Museum of Art just around the corner-- a fine small museum, mainly 19th and 20th century American and European, with lots of Maine artists including Winslow Homer and Marsden Hartley."

"The price was great and the location was convenient. The staff was friendly and very helpful, this goes for every staff member we encountered! Breakfast was kept stocked, the seating was limited for the size of the hotel. The rooms (and property) were a little ran down but clean. We would definitely stay again."
