"The hotel was in the middle of a land dispute, so the entrance was a building site with armed guards and corrugated iron fencing. Access to the hotel was a dangerous dirt track. I fell and injured my wrist. We had requested twin beds in advance and were given doubles. They even failed to change them to twin beds when I asked on day 1. "I have two negatives for this property. One, make sure if you can't hike up stairs you say so up front. Second, there was no hot water. Third and the most annoying, make sure you communicate to them how many beds you need! I booked the room I did because it was advertised that it had 4-5 beds. However, because they determined that we could all fit in 2, they tried to charge us for a third bed. Apparently because that's the local standard.
