Great for families!

We knew before we stayed it would be a family focused resort, and it absolutely is. If you're looking for an all inclusive where your kids can be entertained and you can kick back this is for you. The hotel is dated and I wouldn't say it meets 5 stars, but the staff are friendly and it's located next to some great hikes and beaches.

Everything was the worst that we ever experienced in our holiday! My children and I went to the hotel, after my children did not want to book there for new year, however I thought it was nice since my children did my birthday there. We paid the hotel already. Upon arrival the woman at reception gave us our bracelets for all inclusive and the room slip and for our dinners. There was a different woman came from the back office and said she is the manager and asked us how we would like to pay. We said we had already paid and the woman who gave the bracelets told us the payment was received and that why she gave us the bracelets, she said no although we showed her the receipt of the payment.We were waiting and waiting we missed our dinners and then we went to reception and asked to speak the manager, we were told she is busy in the party, cut a story short, we said if she is not available, we were told to call the police and explained the fraud and suddenly the manager appeared and said you could enjoy or if the police would come we would have to leave. We went for the first option since it was quite close to new year, we made the most of it, the following day it was a similar scenario until the following day when we left, the manager apologised to say the payment was received. It seemed to be very disorganised and not knowing what is going on. Stay away from this hotel and expedia!!!

A good family vacation

It was a good family hotel, could do with other restaurants on site, 7 nights is more than enough and you probably want to eat out as the buffet can get very tired and their Italian restaurant on site can be difficult to book with having to be book 2 days in advance. There's adult only sections but naturally are close to children areas so felt bad as no doubt they heard many screaming kids. The rooms were clean enough though expect dirty feet by the end of it, highly recommend the Merlin rooms if taking kids, definitely kept the little one entertained. All in all a good vacation with the family, 5 nights is more than enough to be honest, one final note for families, the baby club is not a baby club and instead is just a creche, we thought there would be organised activities but there was not for our 17 month old.

Had a nice stay at Gran Tagoro recently with my family. The hotel is great, rooms clean and staff friendly. Food is ok, but got boring later in the stay, always the same at breakfast and lunch. We did not get dinner.

You have to go!

We had the most amazing holiday, the hotel employees couldn't do enough to help and were incredibly friendly with out two young children. The evening entertainment was brilliant and the hotel facilities were exactly what we wanted. The only slight bit of feedback would be that more vegan options at the restaurant would be great...but that's a very specific point and generally the food was great.

Nice resort

Great holiday. We spent a week here and proved to be the right choice for us. Everything including the staff were excellent and the place was very clean considering they have so many to cater for. Only negative was 2 out of the 4 restaurants were closed so the main buffet area was congested at times. The adults area was shutdown during our stay as the pool needed maintenance but it would be unfair to criticise them for this. Overall we were very happy and would definitely go back.

I loved the staff everyone was so friendlythe location was perfect and walking distance to the beaches lively bars and great trails, and rooms were big and beautiful but this is what I didn’t like the food was horrible undercooked or overcooked so many kids putting there hands on buffet food. I believe they tried there best but food needs to improve. The drinks were bad as well you couldn’t get a decent drink except for the wine. I paid for all inclusive but ended up eating out every night and buying groceries.. I’m not sure I could stay here again I was dissapointed…..

Not 5* food but great for kids

Staff were very friendly and service was generally very quick. Room and bathroom were large and clean but some decor throughout the hotel was a bit dated. We felt the facilities weren’t big enough for the number of potential guests. We didn’t have very good weather for most of our stay but there weren’t enough sun beds round the main pool when the sun came out. Kids club was great and they did a range of activities and mini disco every night - the staff were really enthusiastic and clearly cared for the children. Our 6 yr old daughter loved the slide pool. We were really disappointed with the food. There wasn’t much variety in the main buffet. No freshly cut fruit, some tinned fruit. Desserts were the same every day/night and weren’t replenished quick enough. We went to the Italian restaurant once and found our meal appalling (pasta too salty, starters sat out too long). We saw some evening entertainment which was fine. I wouldn’t say it was a 5* hotel.

Hôtel propre et bien aménagé. Le décorum est très bien mais la nourriture laisse plus qu’à désirer et ne correspond pas à un 5 étoiles.

Tolles Zimmer, leider immer wieder mit Ameisen. Reservation der Poolliegen mit Badetüchern ist sehr störend Foodwaste durch Gäste

Bueno pero no tanto para familias

Todo bien en relación calidad precio, pero como puntos a mejorar el Spa, es pequeño y antiguo para un hotel tan grande, los horarios muy reducidos de el club infantil (de 11 a 13 y de 15 a 17), y la falta de animadores. Pls chicos /as hacían lo que podían pero hemos estado en hoteles bastante más pequeños pero con más personal y horas de animación

Es ist zu laut, das Essen war zum Teil verdorben oder nicht gut gewaschen (Salat) usw. Beim Pool wird nicht alles richtig geputzt, obwohl Leute so viel dreck täglich produzieren.

Super für kleinere Kinder, für ältere Kinder nicht zu empfehlen. Wasser war nur im Adult only Bereich warm, kann man aber erst mit 18 nutzen. Babypool leicht geheizt und grosser Pool auch geheizt aber für im Winter zu wenig warm. Laute Musik am Pool. Essen war gut. Unser Familienzimmer war völlig im Schatten hatten nie Sonne.
