Seaside Cottage is nestled in a cove in the quaint village of Yachats. Enjoy the spectacular dance of waves crashing against the rocks, incredible sunsets, and spotting whales and other wildlife, without even leaving the Cottage. Take a stroll and experience locally owned shops and restaurants, a seasonal farmers market, and fun local events in “downtown” Yachats. Some of the best views on the Oregon Coast! Rental had everything you could ever want. Most things in town are within walking distance. Mattresses could definitely use an update. Overall a beautiful well-cared for property, will be back when we're in Yachats again.

Perfect getaway with a VIEW!

The pictures don't do it justice--this place is a gem with the best view to watch the waves crash on the rocks outside. We appreciated the thoughtful touches throughout the house. We have stayed in vacation rentals in six countries and this is one of the best we have seen. We look forward to returning again soon hopefully.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We are multiple time return guests. Love watching the waves break on the rocks. The cottage is comfortable and very well supplied. It is always immaculately clean. Kathy at Ocean odyssey responded quickly to a malfunctioning window shade. We will return!

Fantastic Oceanfront Experience

Location and views are amazing! House is very clean, comfortable and is charmingly decorated. It feels very private - if you leave one north-facing window shade down in the living room then the view from the couch has no other houses in view.

A great first time experience with Vrbo

Not too big, not too small, but just right for one family or small group of friends. Location excellent for ocean views, wonderful sitting area; near small town grocery store; and near great hiking and scenery at Cape Perpetua. Well appointed kitchen. The home is light and bright and someone's dream. If you stay there, we hope you treat it with the same care.

Most wonderful vacation

We were pleasantly surprised at the beautiful view we had and the beauty of the ocean only a few yards away that we couldn't quit taking pictures of the ocean. I do feel it would be a poor place for children of any age due to the drop off to the ocean and the natural curiosity of children to want to explore but as adults we were over joyed with the experience. The cabin was well stocked and very clean. I hope to return again to enjoy this beautiful spot on the Oregon Coast. Thank you.

Beautiful stay!

Gorgeous house right on the ocean. The property manager was very responsive and gave clear communication throughout the process. They have tons of games stockpiled in the house and it was so much fun to just step outside and be 5 minutes away from beach access. Would love to come back here!
