"This was our 1st experience in PR. This house was AMAZINGLY beautiful and really show cased the outdoor space!! It was VERY clean, high quality linens. Had a nice cook space. The space it self was STUNNING!! The outdoor space was PERFECTION!!!! We actually booked for the lounge net area, and it did not disappoint!! **Downfalls [we understand that somethings are out of anyones control so more of a FYI] -There was nothing "comfy" about the house. "We loved everything about the property. Make sure you have a 4 wheel drive or good SUV to navigate the road to the property. But once you are there, you will be enchanted with the amazing property, the views, the pool and all of the magical forest sounds around you. Bring all your food and drinks and enjoy this amazing property. I wasn't able to add pictures to this review for some reason but you will be amazed at the interiors and views. "

"To start you have to park a distance away and transport all your things across a makeshift bridge that is leaning to one side. You have to beal with roosters all over the place. The kitchen is in main level with minimal amenities and no ac.The upstairs was ok but the ac can only ho down to 70 and if you need anything from the kitchen you have to go outside and down stairs to get to it. Now onto the visit.I was notified a day or 2 before check in that there is a very bad smell in the area due to...

"Delightful stay at Mata e' Platano Guesthouse in Luquillo, Puerto Rico! 🌴🏠 My compact, cozy shipping container room was charming, and the property's immaculate condition made me feel like I had the tranquil retreat all to myself. Breakfast (6am-10am) covered the essentials, and I happily fueled up with their convenient morning coffee machine – iced coffee on demand, yes please! ☕️ Snacks and water were available all day, adding to the comfort. A perfect escape from city hustle, ideal for introverts seeking peace. Pro tip: Uber to the ferry ($4) for a fantastic day trip to Vieques or Culebra. Beautiful oceanfront property with pool and amenities to relax

"Where do I begin? The photos don't compare to how beautiful this house is. The pool and patio area were perfect. The rooms were spacious and the bathrooms were very clean. The kitchen had everything we could need and then some. Prior to our arrival José sent a detailed list of restaurants, grocery & convenient stores so we were able to eat and do some grocery shopping and were quickly settled as soon as we arrived. The only thing we didn't get to fully enjoy was the nearby beach. The waves were a little too rough for my toddlers. And the cove where the waves seemed calmer were a little bit of a walk down the beach. But we did make some day trips to other beaches and had a wonderful time. The house was able to comfortably accommodate my whole family"
