"Very disappointed. Booked as a stay over from a trip back from Italy. Alarm bells should have started ringing when they charged us 7 a person for a sheet and a towel. Entered the property and there’s a distinct smell of cat urine. Got a message in the morning saying the house must be spotless and to make the beds. Top Xonrupt-Longemer Hotel Reviews

Colmar Hotel

Colmar Hotel

10/10 Excellent
"If you want to stay by the train station, this is a great option. To get to old town/Little Venice on foot, it's about a 10-12 minute walk. Overall I was very happy with my stay, but there were a few oddities with the room. First, there are no black out curtains, so the entire time I was wondering if people in the parking garage could see into my room. Secondly, there's a red glass window between the room and bathroom, so I think you could put on an interesting silhouetted show if you're sharing the room. Third, the shower has no door, so the bathroom floor gets really wet (but they provide a big towel/rug to soak it up). Aside from those peculiar items, I was really happy with my stay. The bed was comfortable (although I hate throw pillows in a hotel room) and everything was clean. The hotel has a modern feel to it. The breakfast was outstanding. A large spread of food and drink options, plus great service. If you don't eat dinner in the old town (a lot of restaurants don't open until 7pm), I did not notice many options in walking distance of the hotel. One night I ate at a different hotel near the train station that was good. I would stay here again if visiting Colmar."
