The hotel is about a 15 min walk from the train station and shops and about 20 min walk from the famous bridge! Enjoyed all the amenities and the room had a beautiful view. Will book again if I’m ever in the area.

Modern hotel, about a fifteen-minute walk from the hustle and bustle of Würzburg. The staff was very friendly and the rooms were nice. Parking was easy in the complex behind the hotel. We also used their excellent gym, which was nicely equipped. The area was quiet with great views of the hills.

Hotel was perfect. Couldn't fault it. Super clean, very quiet. Bed really comfortable. Car parking excellent. Location a short walk to town. A/C was ace too. The place even smells really nice when you walk in!

The staff were not as helpful as would be expected. First, at check-in Expedia had booked three rooms under my name, but I had my receipt for two rooms. The staff wanted me to deal with the extra room. I'm not sure how they thought I could cancel a room that I did not book. Plus, I did not want to accidently canel a room I did book. After I refused to do it for them, they listed the third room as a "no show." Second, we asked them to hold our luggage after check-out. They were okay with one bag, but seemed confused when four travelers each had a suitcase. We determined it was easier to only leave one suitcase and put all of our cholate in single bad left, and put the rest our our luggage in our rental car (even though we try not to leave any item of value in the car to avoid theft). These two issues were different staff members, and we never dealt with this type of behavior during the rest of the trip. However, that being said, the hotel was clean. The bar staff were super friendly and helpful.

Poor reception service.

Nice hotel, located a bit outside Würzburg city centre. New and modern. However the German hospitality is really taken a toll on the rating. As both a gold member with Hotels.com, and Marriott Bonvoy, the service at the reception is really lacking, and not up to any good standard and this is unfortunately not a single occurrence it has happened on every stay I have had at this hotel. Hotel 4/5 Reception service 1/5 Service in any other area 4/5 Food 4/5

Great stay

We had a great time. A bit long walking to the city but was okay. We had an accident with the babycrib bc it is of metal. That is not good for children. Our little 10 month baby stod up and fell and hit his month on the metal and started bleeding from the Mount. Please Change baby cribs for future Safety for other babies. This was also adresses to the reception join check out. The older man working at the breakfast buffet in the morning is a superstar. So welcoming and so kind. He was always very attention to our needs and you could see how he put a smile on other guests face also. A great host.

It was a pleasant, well maintained Marriott property that did not disappoint. Good AC, walkable to to downtown, and easy to get on/off the highway if you’re driving. Only downsides are the expensive parking and equally expensive breakfast which was 30 euros per person for nothing more than a typical European breakfast layout that most hotels offer for free.

The room was rated as handicap accessible. There were NO grab bars in the toilet or shower. The shower door opens into the shower making it very difficult to close the door once inside. The municipal water had bacteria in it and could not be drunk. There was one filter to get water at the elevators, a long way from my room, especially considering my handicap. I was afraid to use it to was my hands or brush my teeth.
