The property is beautifully located. The sound of the pounding waves was amazing. Apartment was well appointed. Everything you need to make yourself a great meal if you choose. Close to grocery, Rockley Beach, lots of dining options. It is also located at the end of Worthing beach and has lounge chairs available for the guests. Pleasant staff. Would definitely stay again

Blue Orchids is the best vacation location in Barbados. The view of the ocean from your balcony is spectacular and you can walk to any and all amenities. Sure the property is a little dated and sometimes things break down BUT the dedication of staff (cleaning, reception, management, reservations and maintenance) is outstanding. They are pleasant and competent.

The staff at Blue Orchids are kind and accommodating. Lovely people. The location is great for immediate beach access and transportation to other beaches on the island. We had a nice time here. The facility could use an upgrade but it is a clear 3 star hotel. Seats on the beach were in short supply. We mentioned it and were told that we could have asked for more...who knew? Overall, I would go back for a short stay.

This hotel is right on the beach, old hotel but in good shape, nice pool and grounds…the only negative is their elevator which always stops on third floor going up or down is slow and small.
