"This was our first trip to Edge-O-Dells and our first cabin/glamping experience after a lifetime of tent camping at Devil's Lake and other state parks. We weren't sure what to expect and were honestly a little nervous. I worried we'd miss the privacy of traditional camping and be surrounded by a nonstop party atmosphere. The lack of privacy is real, but during our stay the neighbors were friendly and respectful. Aside from hearing the music from the bar clearly from outside, faintly from bed(we stayed in Cabin M, very close to the bar), the noise level was no more disruptive than a typical campground. This may vary depending on when you visit and who happens to be staying nearby. The cabin itself was wonderful: cute, clean, well-maintained, and thoughtfully stocked. Everything we needed was provided except towels and toiletries. We brought extras like dish soap and grilling utensils just in case and never needed them. The main living area is surprisingly spacious and comfortable. The bedrooms are very small, and the extremely firm beds take up most of the space, leaving little room for personal belongings, but the large common area more than makes up for it. The staff was friendly and helpful, the pool was large, warm, and fantastic, and the drinks were delicious, if a bit pricey. We didn't try the food. We'll definitely be back and have already recommended Edge-O-Dells to friends. I think our tent-camping days may be over. This is our new favorite Dells destination!"
