"Even though they were renovating the hotel was super clean, smelled wonderful and still provided all of their amenities. The staff was very friendly and they took safety very seriously. Upon checking in the desk clerk didn’t announce my room number aloud: and they had a sign that all deliveries are to be left at the front with prevents strangers from having direct access to your room. Also when he handed my id and card back my address was on the bottom so as not to be seen. I don’t know if that was intentional or not but as a woman who typically travels and stays alone I was so grateful and I felt so safe there. This will be my new preferred hotel stay! "

The home was clean and well-kept, which we appreciated.However, we did encounter some issues with communication. There was no proactive contact from the host, and when we finally did receive a response, the tone felt unnecessarily curt. Check-in and check-out details were not provided as promised; we had to follow up ourselves to receive that information.The kitchen is only minimally stocked, with very few tools and towels, so be sure to bring your own if you plan to cook. Also, while the listing indicated the property is pet-friendly, there was no mention of the additional pet fee. A change in our plans meant we brought our dog, but the unexpected cost was significant and would have affected our decision had we known in advance.Overall, it's a lovely home in a good location, but better communication and clearer information in the listing would have made our stay more seamless."
