"The Squirrels is in a great location especially if you have a dog. The grounds are absolutely beautiful.The place is clean and all very neat. But very limited on space. It’s is what it is a Shepards hut!!! A must if you are in the area is the Tin Roof Cafe entrance is in the garden centre on the main road to Danbury. Also The Cricketers in Danbury their food is amazing especially Sunday roast it’s a must."

"The owners were very welcoming and accommodating. We had everything we needed. Location is peaceful and idyllic on the lake and is really easy to get to. We felt safe and secure behind the gates. The bed was super comfortable and the house was super clean. "Very nice quaint cottage everything you need for a comfortable stay. Bed very comfy. The only downside for me was the very steep narrow stairs but were manageable. The owner was very nice and helpful lovely breakfast basket left in the kitchen with bacon eggs tomatoes bread butter and milk. A fire made in the grate just needed lighting. I had a very pleasant stay would definitely stay there again."

"The Cottage is a perfect choice if you want clean, quiet, and private accommodations that are walking distance to the Sudbury shops, to the meadows, and to public transportation. The kitchen is fully stocked with appliances and utensils and has a peaceful view of the garden and the meadows beyond. The bed is comfortable, the surrounding area is very quiet at night, and the shower has good water pressure and temperature. The owners are a lovely couple who are friendly and who also respect...
