Our stay at Cedar Lodge and Settlement far exceeded expectations. The room was fantastic. We were on the 2nd floor, and thus had high vaulted ceilings which made the space feel even larger than it actually was (and it was big!). The beds were comfortable, and it was great having a fridge, microwave, coffeemaker, etc. Given that it was communicated we needed to wash all our dishes before checking out, it would have been nice to have a sink separate from the bathroom but it wasn't a bother.
Far and away, the best feature was the deck. We got lucky that our stay coincided with beautiful weather (70s in April!) and spent most of our time on the deck, listening to birds and watching the river flow by. The chairs that came with the room were simple plastic outdoor chairs, but we had brought our own more comfortable camp chairs and were glad we did.
100% would stay again, especially during lower seasons. There were several other occupied rooms but it didn't seem as though the property was at capacity, and thus it didn't feel too crowded or loud (though imagine that could be different if every room was full and we had had more rowdy neighbors).
