"Spacious apartment. Good connections for excursions in the area of Baie de Somme. Right next to the old town of Abbeville for a coffee on the terras or a baguette from the local bakery. Indoors the résidence it is quite warm, probably why it is a retirement home. All-in-all recommended."

"Such an idyllic and beautiful place surrounded by stunning lakes and lush forests. It was truly a beautiful one night stay that I wish could’ve lasted longer. We will surely be back for a longer stay as there was so much that myself and my son (8) wanted to do like paddle boarding, pedal boats and horse riding too! "We have stayed here before. Could not fault the friendliness of the host and gave us an excellent choice of restaurants for our evening meal. The hotel is comfortable enough but is looking a little tired especially in the room we were in but apart from that we had a good overnight stay "

"Very quirky property, traditional French style in middle of St Valery with everything this beautiful town has to offer on the doorstep. Public parking available on the road just up from hotel. We stayed in Lawrence of Arabia suite which was interesting. Room to spread out in living area. Breakfasts are fantastic, with lovely fresh produce. Lovely host. "

"Absolutely beautiful property, excellently maintained. We had the Loge du Gardien which was everything we could have hoped for. Photos on Expedia actually don’t give it justice, the house is superb. Our teenagers loved the private hot tub with built in Bluetooth speakers. I would absolutely stay here again. "

"Amazing and unique place with phenomenal hospitality. Highly recommend staying here. Room was very very warm and I couldn’t turn down the radiator. But amazing and so so friendly."

"This has become a regular stop over for us on our regular travels over to France. It is close to the tunnel and we'll located for the main roads in out and around Abbeville. The apartments we generally stay in have a kitchen/lounge/eating room, a separate bedroom and a separate bathroom. The kitchen area has the basic cooking equipment comprising rising a ring electric hob and a microwave. Utensiles, plates and cutlery are supplied but we have noticed that over time the number of pieces is declining. There are TVs in the lounge and bedroom. Also we have always found the staff to be friendly and helpful. This suits us perfectly and we will continue to use it whilst we are travelling over to the south West of France."

"What a beautiful place. Antoine and Charlotte have renovated the building in the most cosy and welcoming style. They are fantastic hosts. Nothing is too much trouble. Breakfast was delicious. We loved the pool which was a perfect temperature and the outdoor chairs for soaking up the afternoon and evening sunshine. Just 20 minutes from St Valery sur Somme, we enjoyed the train ride around the bay to Le Crotoy and spent the afternoon exploring beautiful St Valery. We loved this place and the location. Highly recommended."
