We stayed only one night but we had wonderful service from the staff, particularly Mark. The rooms were very clean and quiet. Lovely outlook onto the golf course and a mob of kangaroos in the morning! Everything we needed for a pleasant stay.

The best of this experience was the staff. Kathy went above and beyond to make sure we had a truly memorable experience. By the way, the view from the room to the golf course is incredible. So nice to see kangaroos around.

The room is very spacious but overall the property is dated. We were assigned a room at back of the property and it was very difficult to find at night (late check in) as there were no signs on the road (or if there were, they were not illuminated). This is a very convenient accommodation to catch the early morning ferry to Kangaroo Island in Cape Jervis. Also, loved the wildlife, eg kangaroos or wallabies, birds,etc near the property.

Stained carpets, layered dust on skirting boards, shower temperature could not be maintained, noisy rooms, thin walls and adjoining room doors not sound proofed. The room needed a whole new Reno.

Accommodation was lovely. Did have an issue with the booking - I booked and paid through Wotif prior to arrival and the venue had not received payment through Wotif. I spent 40mins at Reception and on the phone trying to sort it out so I could check in and make it to my dinner reservation. Not the best check in experience, but still a nice stay.

Bed was huge but room was very dated and windows were filthy. Lots of marks on the carpet. Restaurant don’t open for dinner on Sunday and had little breakfast choices. Saw plenty of kangaroos hanging around so that made a huge difference. It is winter but spa facilities were out and not working.

Inconveniences -TV not working properly, fridge not working at all.Sliding Door to outside actually doesn't lock. Staff excellent but they maybe need some more. It's like they make an effort but don't have enough time or people to get to anything.

The property is in need of an overhaul trnnis court ripped up . Tv not working facililies old and worn . Furniture in bedtoom old and eorn. Went down for dinner ordered sweet and sour pork waited nearly an hour but hot some big chunks of batter with no pork indide. Fried rice was greasy. Would not go back would not recommend.

The room was very basic for the price paid. In addition, there were lights that weren't working. The mini fridge was not working properly - too warm, didn't keep our drinks cold and the freezer needed to be defrosted as ice fell out when it was opened. Disappointing that there wasn't a microwave. On the upside it was quiet and peaceful and the staff were friendly.

Having a golf course room was excellent it was quiet and restful. The room was perfectly clean but had obviously not been opened for a while as it smelt musty. The aircon worked well but was noisy. The bathroom was clean and tidy and the hot water was plentiful. The bed was comfortable but it fell in towards the middle of the mattress. The restaurant was excellent for dinner service prompt but they decided not to open breakfast buffet so breakfast service took a while

The out look is fantastic but the resort is in need of a major overhaul as being advertised as a 4 star but I would only rate at 2.5 star only due to being rundown. It wasn't horrible by all means just not what we were expecting for a 4 star resort

Had to find a receptionist after 10mins of waiting and ringing the bell. Room was fine. Pool area had a metal grate that was completely rusted very dangerous if walking barefoot around the pool. Went to reception to get putters for mini golf as there was equipment behind the counter, receptionist told me I had to go to the pro shop for mini golf as these were spares? Asked nicely and she reluctantly gave me 3 putters and 3 balls for my self and my 2 young boys. As she was giving me the putters she said that will be $15? I said I was a guest at the ‘resort’ but she said no it wasn’t complimentary. Ridiculous and not stated anywhere it was an extra charge. Found the games room however they were all turned off and very dusty, informed upon check out that I could of just turned them on myself ? Went to check out waited again then a gentleman from the restaurant shouted just leave the key on the reception counter. Overall not a good stay and will not be back.

There was poor food, out of a box . Room had not been cleaned properly. Employee was overworked. Property was badly run down. This property needs huge overhaul to bring it up to standard for visitors to stay .

A friend and I stayed here after a big day exploring Second Valley, Normanville and Rapid Bay beaches. The room was clean but really dated, Tv was small, bad phone reception. We loved the kangaroos that sat outside our room. The bed was comfy too. Staff were friendly. A good place to go if you want to crash somewhere but not somewhere I’d stay for more than a night or come back to in a hurry. Quite pricey for what you got.
