"This cabin is a perfect retreat in the Maine woods. We had a wonderful time enjoying the lake's crystal clear water especially with all the watertoys . The cabin was good sized and super clean. Roy was so friendly and easy to deal with it made the whole vacation a pleasure. We will be back next summer."

Great bass fishing too! There is a wonderful dock but be sure to bring your own water toys. Great place for children with neighbors that encourage lots of kid play, exploring/adventuring, and boisterous fun."

"We are a retired couple in our early 70's and have stayed at this cabin every year for the last 12 years. You can't beat the remote location and wonderful view. The cabin is straight out of an LL Bean ad, and about as close to the water as you can get. We normally come in spring and fall to kayak and enjoy the view from the awesome screen deck. Scott is a great host and always responds immediately."

"Like the description says, there’s parking off a dirt road then about a 10 minute canoe ride to the property. My kids enjoyed the canoeing, it was an adventure when getting back at night but for us it was a lot of fun. The cabin is beautiful and offers a lot of amenities but it’s solar powered and fresh drinking water comes from bottles. There’s a sink for washing hands and dishes but it’s non-potable water. "I was offered Stella which is a beautiful little apartment due to a mistake I made when applying to stay in Roxie. I didn't realize Roxie was solar and I really needed electricity for this stay. It was a more a business trip not a camping trip.Sherri very graciously let me stay in Stella which was wonderful . Very clean, bright , everything you could need . I would definitely stay there again.."

We had some unfortunate timing, with the lake experiencing a persistent algae bloom that made the water inaccessible to swimming or water sports, but we made the best of it - exploring other area lakes and ponds for swimming (in particular, McGrath Pond had a hidden gem of a local swimming spot!), I would highly recommend this...
