"Brilliant hotel.! Fantastic staff with attention to detail who went above and beyond to assist us. Good amenities and central location to the old city.
We loved our stay and wouldn’t hesitate to return. "
"I am an Israeli traveler who was visiting Azerbaijan and unfortunately lost my passport. After thinking it through, I realized that it was left with a taxi driver I had ordered. I tried calling the driver several times, but since my number was Israeli, he did not answer.
The shift manager immediately came to help, made the call himself, and handled the entire situation with professionalism and care. Thanks to his help, my passport was safely returned to me.
I am extremely grateful for his assistance and kindness. Outstanding service and support in a very stressful situation. Highly appreciated!"
"Small, sparkling and elegant. The decor uses pearl and mother of pearl. Accents beautifully. It has a refined jewel box atmosphere that feels very special."
"For those seeking a touch of modern Baku, this hotel delivers. It is clean affordable and has a certain retro charm. The nizami street nearby is lovely for a morning walk."
"My stay at the Mövenpick was very pleasant, and the location turned out to be perfect. At first, I wasn’t impressed when arriving through the back entrance—it was tight, and I could barely squeeze in to reach the front desk. I even considered leaving. But Fatima at reception, with her kindness and warm smile, convinced me to stay at least one night. I ended up staying five. She is truly wonderful and so helpful.
A special thanks as well to Nigar, who assisted me with directions to the Old City and recommended excellent restaurants. She checked on me daily through WhatsApp, always offering help whenever needed.
And Ayten deserves recognition for arranging my Gobustan and mud volcano tours. She assured me I could contact her with any issue, and she meant it. When the tour driver attempted to charge more than the agreed price, I messaged her directly; she immediately resolved it through the company’s management. Their professionalism goes far beyond expectations, and I truly appreciate all they did."
