This property was great for our extended family get together of 24 people ages 3-adults. Everything was great for a large group - plenty of space on the kitchen counter to prepare and set out meals, a large dining room and a game room that kept all ages entertained. The kayaks and life jackets helped up to take full advantage of the beautiful river as well.

Great Spot!

Perfect cabin in the woods! Has a great scenic spot on the river and plenty of space for guests. Awesome game room and bar area as advertised. Teresa was a great host and was very helpful throughout the process. Would definitely come back!

Nice remote location to stay for family and children with activities to do over the long weekend However those who come from downtown or suburbs make sure you come with cooking items , less variety of chain restaurants near by . Also had wonderful local coffee shops near by

Fall side by side trip

Great place! Lots of room for large group. We had 20 of us and had plenty of room. Perfect driveway for space for trucks and trailers. We will be booking again for our next years trip!

We had a great time here! It was so nice to have all our family stay together with so many different activities to keep the kids active & interested. We used the kayaks, swam in the slow moving river (just be aware there are river rocks on the bottom that can make it difficult to walk on), did puzzles, grilled, played pool, ping pong tournament & karaoke on the stage! Would definitely consider coming back!

Great gathering place

This was a great place to stay for a group of friends. The game room and bar area was a lot of fun. The property manager responded very quickly and was easy to work with. My only critique is that the kitchen area could use a bit of filling out, with effectively no consumables or spices available and an odd scattering of kitchen tools/pans, with heavy wear.

Wonderful owners.Large and plenty to do. Deck and bar popular, game room very good location for pictures. Many freezers, refrigerators.Upstairs bedrooms a bit warm, but it was HOT out.Could use a bit of fixing and fresh paint. Everyone really enjoyed it and had a wonderful time! Would recommend.

Perfect Winter Getaway at O'Malley Hideaway

We had an amazing stay at O’Malley Hideaway in Winter, WI. This cabin is massive, offering plenty of space for our group of 14 adults and 14 kids. Every room was spacious and comfortable. The full bar setup was perfect for our gatherings, and the game room was a highlight—with a high-end billiards table, foosball, and table tennis. It’s the perfect cabin for winter, with more than enough room to relax and have fun without needing to leave the property.Winter itself is a charming town with a beautiful downtown area, a large grocery store, and great local bars. Our host, Teresa, was fantastic—she was quick to respond and made sure we had everything we needed for a seamless stay. Highly recommend!

Not clean and fly issues

The property has not been cleaned properly and also have lot of flies (dead and alive)and ladybugs inside the property. We even saw mouse inside the house. The owners were good with communication and allowed us to late checkout by couple of hours. But overall I would not recommend the property.

Great Place for a Large Group

This is a great house for a large group. Host was communicative and easy to work with. Definitely not a new place and there is generally some wear and tear on the house. However, the house was clean when we arrived and we did not run into any issues while we were there. Wifi is okay but slows down a lot when multiple The highlight of this house is the ample amount of common space in which your large group of friends or family can hang out -- there is a "cafeteria" dining area with many tables, bar area with several couches and a fireplace, and a huge game room with pool table, foosball, darts, and ping pong. We had a great weekend and I can recommend this house if you need to host a big group.

One room, One space for the whole family

This house was amazingly wide. The first floor is the main floor and everyone is able to see each other, hear one another, and see what’s going on at the other end. The second floor was great to just sleep, so I’m glad no one was upstairs the whole time. Everyone felt involved. My family and I loved that the kitchen was kind of isolated so kids don’t need to run in the kitchen or adults don’t need to bother those that are cooking. Teresa was a great host. She responded quickly to any concerns I had. Teresa made it easy to get in the house rather than using a key. Teresa’s fireplace was the best of all; easy to control and have gathering around there with the kiddos.

We enjoyed it

We had a wonderful time there. House is not new, but clean and has lots of room to accommodate big companies. We were planning snowmobiling, skiing, etc, but since it was no snow(we stayed 12/28/23-1/2/24), accept maybe 1/2 inch on New years eve, none of that happened. But all of the amenities inside of the house made up for any weather disappointment. Game room on first floor is great and everybody enjoyed it to max. In between big pool and ping-pong tournaments kids played video games in the game spoot on the second floor. Bar area was a hot spot for adults and dining room could comfortably accommodate 30 people. Host was friendly and gave complete instrutions on how to get in and other helpful tips. This place is a great find for anyone who enjoys being outdoors and away from crowded cities. The only thing i would recommend, if you used to five star places, full service, flawless internet and so on... get real. Don't leave bad review just because you booked the wrong place.

Cabin Like Camping

If you’re planning to go to luxury cabin that’s not what you will expect. This place is more of camping but the luxury to be inside a building with bathrooms and beds to sleep in, rather in a tent. The place is very big and rooming with lots to do inside and outside. It is not up to date if you’re expecting quality. There was a lot of dead bugs by windows, spider webs in bed rooms. You can’t really tell because the lights are very dim. The place is very dusty. Whoever cleaning service clean the place did not do their job. Probably just wiping done kitchen vacuum, trash. The water is very light due its well water, bathroom flushes you’ll have to wait for it to be filled. They have directions of making sure you clean and wash everything before use to eat. Which is understandable we noticed. We bought plastic forks, spoons, and plates to use over the weekend. There was general dollar store near by. Volleyball net was not useable. They do have a lot of wild animals, Deers, raccoons, and geese. Which means lots of their droppings. They have 3 grills so it helped with a family of 20 to cook food. The best thing was the canoe and kayaks to use and enjoy the nature of the river. Fishing if you like to fish, we didn’t catch any, maybe the season we went. The kids enjoyed the game room with the pool table, ping pong, and board games. We took Fall pictures which was beautiful by the river.

Very clean cabin and plenty of room for our large family. Large yard for games, relatively gentle slope to the river and shallow area perfect for the kids to enjoy. River also works for tubing for adults. Great Place Great stay!!

We had seven couples staying in this cabin, it worked out very well! For bathrooms, there are 3 full baths and 1 half-bath, (not 5). The game room had a lot to offer and we had a great time.
