"The Enchanted Forest and the LakeMy sister and I enjoyed every minute of our stay at this lovely period lakefront cottage nestled in the forest on the shores of Lake Erie. Not only does it have its own beach access and a dramatic view of the lake, but less than a five-minute walk down the road is a delightful beach mini-park with a pavilion, picnic tables, playground, and beach—ideal for families.There are lake views from a large deck and a charming second-floor balcony. The grounds are spacious and well maintained. If you prefer a forest view, the enclosed front porch offers comfortable chairs and a picnic table.Inside, there are amazing libraries of books, videotapes, and games—you will not be bored. The kitchen is well equipped, and the beds are very comfortable. Communication with the hosts showed an exceptional level of care for our safety and well-being—clear, timely, and responsive—ensuring a memorable and delightful experience.A wonderful place to experience the beauty of fall."

"This is such a cute house. Very homey and comfortable. Great views off the deck and central to a lot of hiking and points of interest. The owners dogs made me feel at home. I took my dogs with us. They had a great time hiking. Who knew there was so much beauty near Ashtabula! Would recommend. "
