"We were a bit disappointed on arrival - our room wasn't ready, and despite lots of staff being around, nobody helped us with our bags down the steps, or provided us any information about the hotel, restaurant, wifi, etc.
The room was beautiful, though, and our small private pool was clean.
We were disappointed by the breakfast offering - lots of open containers with flies landing on the food meant there wasn't really anything we felt comfortable eating."

"Villa Borobudur is set in a stunning location, nestled in beautiful green forests with views of distant volcanos. It had 2 large pools with infinity edges, overlooking the scenery. Staff at Villa Borobudur couldn’t have done more to make us feel welcome. We were greeted with warmth every time we had any interactions. My daughter and I thoroughly enjoyed trying out batik while my husband and son had great fun at a cookery class. We also enjoyed a hike and I would thoroughly recommend a guided cycle trip through the local village and market. "
"It was quite nice, we stayed there what felt like a long time. The staff were so friendly and helpful, at some point it felt like a second home. Some of the facilities were a bit miss, such as our sink tap just being just broken though still functional. But everything else was quite pleasant. Really enjoyed our stay, would definitely go back. "This is a stunning property with private villas in a gorgeous setting within view of the iconic heritage monument , Borobudur which is also only 10 min. Upon checking in you are invited to a WhatsApp group that allows you to make any requests including shuttle service and bookings of excursions. Upon landing I had to make dinner reservations for 40 people the next day and they didn’t even bat an eye. They simply provided me with options and the booking was made within the hour. The villas are large, and beautiful and as my sister mentioned provided one of the best sleep iour entire journey. Indulge yourself and stay here"
"this room is ok but for amenities is not ok because they are dont have hand towel, wash cloth, conditioner, hand body lotion.
