Beautiful location, friendly staff, clean rooms with simple furnishings. The included breakfast was excellent but restaurant menu is otherwise expensive. Serves were huge, too much for us to eat.

Très correct au calme

Parking facile , personnel accueillant , grande chambre simple mais suffisant pour une halte voir un séjour , promenades faciles , le bémol pour pas de restauration sur place et egalement la voie de chemin de fer assez proche et bien présente en son …au petit déjeuner nous aurions apprécié un peu plus de fruit et un laitage type yaourt mais le petit déjeuner était suffisant pour démarrer une belle journée .une halte à conseiller

Sehr große Zimmer, direkter Blick auf die Donau, großer Balkon - Herz was willst Du mehr. Wem das nicht genügt, der ist sicher nach dem Frühstück überzeugt. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

Die Unterkunft war bei Ankunft bereits geschlossen (gegen 20:30 Uhr), glücklicherweise war der Besitzer der Anlage jedoch noch mit einigen wenigen Gästen im Gastraum anzutreffen...nachdem ich ans Fenster klopfte. Die Küche war wohl bereits geschlossen, dennoch bot man mir eine kalte Mahlzeit an. Das Zimmer war recht klein, das Bett etwa 90cm breit. Ausreichend für eine Nacht, für mehr wäre ein größeres Bett wünschenswert gewesen. Das Frühstück war ausreichend und lecker.

Durchschnitt

Da gleichzeitig ein Porscheevent gebucht war, fühlten wir uns geduldet. Das Hotel ist guter Durchschnitt, noch nie hatte ich eine Toilette, auf die man sich wegen Platzmangel nur quer setzen konnte.... Abendessen dann als volle Panne von Service und Küche, statt Entschuldigung dann Belehrung: der Lachs darf mittig noch gefroren sein, immerhin war er außen knusprig. Man lernt nicht aus.

Das Bett war sehr bequem, klasse Matratze. Zimmer viel zu klein, kein Platz für den Koffer. bei Anreise am Abend sehr schlechte Ausschilderung, keine Beleuchtung, Haupteingang wirkt eher wie ein Nebeneingang.

Die Pension sieht zunächst sehr verlassen aus. Zimmerschlüssel ist am Eingang hinterlegt, man muss nur die Handynummer an der Eingangstür anrufen. Check in also völlig problemlos und schnell. Lage ist der Hammer, direkt an der Donau, mit eigenem Bootsanleger. Preis-Leistung Top! Großer kostenloser Parkplatz direkt am Haus. Frühstück ist kein Buffett sondern persönlich angerichtet aber sehr vielfältig und gut.

knappt öppet?

Stängt! Trodde vi - det stod så på skyten utanför, men vi hittade nån slags personal som kunde checka in oss. Kanske ny ägare? Restaurangen var i alla fall stängd, tur att det fanns ett öppet ställe strax bredvid. Väldigt enkel frukost, bara bröd-smör- marmelad. Rummet var iskallt, men vi fick låna värmefläkt.

Die Unterkunft entspricht den Angaben. Es handelt sich um ein familiengeführtes Gasthaus direkt an der Donau. Wir haben die Unterkunft als Zwischenstopp für unsere Reise nach Ungarn genutzt und dafür war sie perfekt. Das Frühstück besteht aus Wurst/Käse und verschiedenen süßen Aufstrichen und Brötchen/Laugenstangen und Heißgetränken. Empfangen wurden wir sehr freundlich. Reibungslose Abwicklung und Bezahlung.

Overstretched and understaffed

This appears to be a fisherman's hostel that now caters to passing trade (people using it for overnight stays). Unfortunately, this now seems to translate into a degree of indifference about guests. The more interesting dinner choices are "unavailable" - and may only be used to get people to sit down. The room we were in was ok, but the bathroom almost unusable, as both WC and washbasin were crowded against the shower so that it was impossible to sit straight on the toilet, or bend over the basin. The situation (by the river) is scenic but comes with serious disadvantages - lots of squashed mosquitoes on the walls testify to this - and with no netting on the windows, ventilation is nearly impossible in summer. Check-in and out is extremely fast, because the owner has little or no time - and having been told that breakfast would start at 7.30, we arrived to find most of the other guests waiting outside a locked room - evidently having been promised an even earlier start (7.00?). When someone arrived at about 7.45, they were unable to cope, so we guests helped serve breakfast to try and speed things up. There is undoubtedly goodwill, but this property does need significant redesign at a basic level, some 'refreshing' and a different approach to guests - at the moment it looks as though management considers that overnight stayers are hardly likely to complain, so why bother?
