Bait and switched the rooms….

I booked a 38sqm double apartment and when I arrived I had been given a 18sqm box room. Half the size and with less facilities. The apartment is also in a separate side of the hotel next to only one other apartment. It’s far superior. The apartment was obviously more expensive than the single room at the time of booking so it’s substantially different to what I received. I arrived at approximately 11PM and got my key from the key safe and that was the first I knew I’d been downgraded. No contact had been made by the hotel informing me of the switch. They’d had nearly 24 hours to do so. They of course should have contacted me and offered me the option to either cancel the booking and look elsewhere, or to accept the room downgrade with an apology. Instead they downgraded me without my consent and didn’t even have the decency to let me know they had done so and the first I knew it it was when I arrived tired and looking forward to my apartment only to be greeted by a pokey box room in the main side of the hotel, in the room everyone has to pass to get in or out. No consideration was given to how I’d feel about getting less than I’d paid for or was expecting. To date I’m still waiting for an apology from the hotel. They have been extremely unprofessional in the way they have dealt with this. I immediately contacted the hotel on arrival and they made no contact whatsoever whilst I was at the Hotel or until days after. I wouldn’t stay here again.

A fachada estava em reforma, tem estacionamento disponivel na lateral, tivemos problema com o código de acesso para a chave que não funcionou, não há atendentes no local. Aspecto velho e meio encardido da mobilia do quarto, box do banheiro requer melhor limpeza, café da manhã horrível e cobrado a parte, sem ninguém para atendimento. Não há opções para refeição. Não voltarei nesse local.

Die Unterkunft liegt an der Hauptstraße des kleinen Ortes und ist daher von Durchgangsverkehr betroffen. Einen Check In im eigentlichen Sinne gibt es leider nicht. Auch der Gasthof ist von der Bezeichnung her irreführend, da keine Gastronomie angeboten wird. Die Bezahlung der Übernachtung geht leider nur in Bar, Kartenzahlung wird nicht akzeptiert, daher in diesem Falle bitte einen morgendlichen Umweg zur nächsten Bank einplanen. Sehr unpraktisch. Alles in allem ein nicht ausgewogenes Preis/Leistungs-Verhältnis.

Alte Post - neu gemacht. Toll.

Die Alte Post ist eigentlich gar nicht mehr alt, weil das Haus sehr schön renoviert worden ist. Das von mir bewohnte Zimmer war unter dem Dach, geräumig, leider ein bisschen wenig Steckdosen. Ansonsten ruhig, gute Parkmöglichkeiten, mit dem Auto gut zu erreichen. Anreise rund um die Uhr möglich, weil ein Key-Automat vorhanden. Das Frühstück war ausreichend und günstig. Der Wirt ist ein netter Mensch, gerne wieder.

Super waren die Betten und es war alles sehr sauber und ordentlich. Die Schlüsselübergabe war ganz einfach und unkompliziert und freundlich. Leider waren die Heizung aus, und es dauerte bei der Kälte sehr lange bis die Räume warm waren. Es fehlt ein Fön und eine Garderobe...aber sonst kann ich es wirklich empfehlen.

Toller, gut renovierter kleiner Gasthof.

Der Aufenthalt im Gasthof war angenehm erholsam. Das Doppelzimmer war sehr gut ausgestattet und ich habe mich dort sehr wohl gefühlt. Alles war sehr sauber! Die Lage ist übrigens auch grandios.
