Sunshine Suite | Downtown Square + Creek Access

The Sunshine Suite at Cabins on the Square is a bright, cheerful one-bedroom retreat with classic Hill Country charm—ideal for girlfriends’ getaways, shopping weekends, or a relaxed couples escape.

This cozy suite features a sunny yellow palette and a welcoming atmosphere just steps from downtown Wimberley. Sleep comfortably in two plush queen beds dressed with all-cotton sheets, down comforters, and soft pillows—perfect after a full day exploring shops, wineries, and local attractions.

Thoughtful amenities make your stay easy and comfortable, including a mini-refrigerator, coffee bar, wine glasses and corkscrew, and a private bathroom with shower. Soft bath towels, beach towels, and toiletries are provided.

Step outside to enjoy the front porch with Adirondack chairs, or wander down to the shared Cypress Creek area. Guests have access to spring-fed Cypress Creek with a shared deck and seating—ideal for relaxing, cooling off, or enjoying the peaceful creekside setting.

The Sunshine Suite is one of five units at Cabins on the Square, located at 200 Wimberley Square. From here, you can walk to cafés, restaurants, wine tastings, boutiques, art galleries, festivals, and local events.

This cabin is absolutely perfect! It was walking distance to the cutest town. The owner was friendly and helpful. Plenty of shopping and dining within walking distance. So many cute spots to sit and enjoy the grounds around the property

We had a great getaway at Cabins on the Square! The room was as advertised and the location was unbeatable. We enjoyed the grounds and the kids loved the creek access! We will definitely stay again.

This is the second time we have stayed there and it is a perfect location for being in town.

The property is wonderful it is right in the middle of town and the lady that manages it and the lady that works there is so helpful and friendly. This is my favorite place to stay in Wimberly. I have stayed other places, but this is my favorite and the only place I will stay.

My daughter and I had a relaxing time and the close proximity to shopping and restaurants made for a pleasant time. Private parking was important. The cabin and the grounds were well maintained and a minor plumbing problem was taken care of quickly. The owner is helpful and friendly and her guests feel welcomed.

Great place and location

Family of 4 stayed here while visiting friends in Wimberly. Its at the back of the square so walking distance to shops and restaurants. It also backs up to the creek so a perfect place to relax after a busy day. Cute and clean!

What a great little place in the heart of Wimberly! Great location for shopping, dining and exploring. Parking space was great and only left to go to a wedding on Saturday. Highly recommend.

We enjoy staying at the cabins on the square. Perfectly located. Rarely have to get in car the entire weekend because it’s perfectly located in walking distance from everything you could need. Love the improvements you’ve added. Good job!!!

It’s right on the square! Proximity to swimming holes and Big Baldy are great. Beds are SUPER soft…just FYI for firm mattress lovers like myself.

We loved our stay at Cabins on the Square. Perfect location!

We stayed in the Sunshine cabin. The room wasn’t large but was big enough for our family to sleep comfortably. The beds and bedding were very comfortable. The location is absolutely amazing! The creek running behind the cabin is beautiful! “Sip on the square” makes really good coffee to enjoy on the deck in the morning. We will definitely go back!

Adorable well located cabin

The cabins are literally right on the square. You walk outside and you are there. The property is beautiful with lots of outdoor seating and lights by the creek. Sitting back there with a glass of wine watching the fireflies is wonderful. The rooms are small so don’t bring a lot of stuff but it’s really perfect in every other way. We will stay there again for sure!
