NEW FOR 2025: Refresh on the inside with paint, trim, twin mattresses, etc. Beach renourishment is expected Fall 2025. Beach erosion is in progress (it comes and goes) and if the immediate Periwinkle beach access is inaccessible to walk, you can access the beach at the neighboring Clam Shell public beach access or at Freeman Park (North of Carolina Beach Pier). FOR 2022: coffee table, end tables, and nightstands.

Welcome to my family’s HOME away from home! This 2nd floor, end unit, spacious two bedroom, two bath condo features 4 sliders (2 overlooking the ocean and 1 in each bedroom) and windows in the kitchen and living room that let in plenty of NATURAL light! Well-behaved, groomed pets are welcome (additional $150 fee) and RELAXATION is required!

The master bedroom includes an en suite with walk-in shower, queen bed, and balcony. The second bedroom includes two twin beds and balcony. The second full bathroom includes a tub with shower. The recently remodeled kitchen includes all major appliances and accessories. The washer and dryer is located adjacent to the kitchen. Off the kitchen is a big dining table that sits 6. PLENTY of room for sitting, eating, and RELAXING! The living area includes seating for 5 and the couch folds out into a queen size bed. The OCEANFRONT balcony is SPACIOUS with a bar height table and four chairs. You can people watch and see the waves hit the sand from the balcony.

There is a 65” HD SMART TV in the living room, 28” HDTV in the master bedroom, and 32" TV in the guest bedroom. Each TV is either SMART or connected to a ROKU and has access to Spectrum cable through their app. The house has wireless internet, FREE-WIFI. SPACIOUS parking for two vehicles. One spot is covered and under the building and the other is near the beach dune. Please bring your own sheets, linens, and towels. I also recommend bringing your own pillows. Dogs are welcome north of the pier all day, everyday. During peak summer season (April 1st through September 30th) dogs are welcome on the beach in front of the condo before 9 am and after 5 pm.

The North End Carolina Beach Pier is located less than three blocks away and features the High Tide Lounge Bar/Pub. Located above the pier, beach goers may drive their vehicles right on the sand and pets are welcome YEAR-ROUND.

Also, not too far away is the Boardwalk (restaurants, shops, rides, games, and pier) featuring the EXTREMELY POPULAR Britt’s Donuts! NOM NOM NOM

Family vacation

Perfect Location for a beach getaway!

The property is exactly as described and the owner is immediately responsive to all communication. The unit is right on the beach. The 2 minute walk to the water was wonderful and we could even hear the waves breaking from our balcony! There are no high-rises nearby, so the beach was never overcrowded. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a quiet beach getaway.

Beautiful views

This is a clean and well stocked property with a nice balcony offering a direct view of the ocean. We enjoyed bringing our little dog for morning walks on the beach and afternoons looking out at the ocean view.

Perfect beach get-away!!!

This condo provided everything we needed for 2 weeks at the beach! The porch overlooks the beach perfectly and it’s a 2 minute walk to the water!! Most restaurants are close by and most are dog friendly! Our host was super to deal with-very prompt with answers to our questions and even came personally the 1st day to help with the TV!!

Relaxing getaway

Condo was very clean. The bed was very comfortable. Location was quiet. The view of the was good. We enjoyed the different things Carolina Beach had to offer. Tim was a very good host, he answers all our questions quickly. His restaurant suggestions were the best! We hope to come down again Next year!

Perfect Location. Great View. Instant Beach Access.

I thought a little bit about this review. It was immaculately clean for a dog friendly rental. The checkout list and instructions are blunt and exhaustive. That being said, all requests are reasonable. CB water bug is a local name for a supspecies of roach, that you may find here on occasion. Just uh, unplug the wifi if you know what I mean.

So close!

The condo and stay was awesome. It's so close to the ocean that you can almost feel the spray at high tide. Was treated to a "Super Moon" that rose just off the 2nd floor balcony. Also so appreciative of the host who had my back when I messed up the key code. He got right back to me with the correct code! : )

Over 10 years

We’ve been coming to this condo since 2013 and enjoy our time here immensely. The big plus is that we can bring our Golden Retriever. We also like the location and the views of the ocean. It’s also convenient to the North Pier and Freeman Park. Although it’s an older condo, it has been renovated and serves our needs perfectly. Tim is the perfect owner in that he is always available if there are any questions or problems.

Perfect weekend getaway

The condo is as described and had everything we need for our stay. Most important, it's oceanfront and only steps from the beach. We especially enjoyed walking down to the pier with our dog in the morning and evenings. I can't rave about the location enough; it's away from the boardwalk and peopley part of Carolina Beach but also close enough that you can easily get into that stuff too if you want. The balcony was great for beach views & chillin. We also enjoyed checking out local restaurants. Flaming Amy's, Gulfstream and Lazy Pirate were dog friendly. Bottom line, we didn't want to leave and are plotting our next trip!

Great Value for Location

This place is in a great location, you are close to everything. Excellent view of the ocean from the balcony, although the carpet needs replacing. This places needs a deep cleaning and some ceiling repairs with a fresh coat of paint and it would be great. Until then it’s great value for the location. Additionally, I recommend trashing the regular coffee pot it has growth in the water reservoir. We cleaned up a bit ourselves and enjoyed the beach and the views. That is what it’s about.

Nice Quiet Area of Carolina Beach

Great place for visiting CB with dogs. Host states they do not provide linens of any kind (including kitchen dishrag/drying towel), and since unit is up three flights of steps, it was a lot of work to carry up luggage, food, dog kennel/necessities AND all towels and bedding for our stay. Tolerable if you are fit/under 50 or staying a length of time, but difficult for a 2-3 day stay! Also fees and pet charge can/will double your cost!

Great Condo On The Beach

My mom and I were at the condo in early May. The location was perfect, it was close enough to shops and restaurants but far enough away that it was peaceful. There is a public beach access right next to the property, which was so convenient; we easily could run back inside to ise the bathroom or grab more water. The best part of the condo was the balcony off the living room that overlooks the ocean. We spent our mornings and evenings there enjoying the beach without actually being on the beach; perfect scenery as we enjoyed our meals out there. Our dogs also loved being out there too! The condo was very clean and comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed for our stay. The covered parking was also a bonus. Definitely recommend!

Carolina beach stay

Overall for a short weekend trip, this condo had everything we needed and communication with the property manager was great. I always appreciate when a Vrbo has things like hand soap, dish soap, paper towels and even coffee filters. I also enjoyed that the queen size bed was memory foam and was very comfortable. I took away a star because you can very clearly hear the upstairs neighbors just walking, not stomping or running or anything like that, but it’s clear as day so that was disruptive at night. The front door on a particularly windy day also wanted to rattle and thump around like crazy and it almost drove us mad because we couldn’t figure out how to get it to quiet down. Overall though a great stay

Perfect little beach town

This was our first time visiting Carolina Beach and we absolutely fell in love with the area! The condo was a little smaller than expected but it fit our family of 3 and our large dog comfortably. The kitchen was well stocked and perfect for small meals. The washer and dryer was convenient and the storage area under the condo for chairs and umbrellas was an added bonus. The view was amazing and the location was perfect. A 5 minute walk down the beach to the pier for drinks, love music, and small bonfires on the beach. A 10 minute walk to the North End Cafe for morning coffee, breakfast sandwiches, and affordable kayak rentals. A 30 minute drive to Wilmington for a day trip and sightseeing. And a 5-10 minute drive (or 20-30 minute walk) to the boardwalk and the Kure Beach Pier. The area is very walkable and due to the price of parking, a lot of people seem to travel on foot. If you are traveling with your dog, the area is very dog friendly and welcoming to larger breeds. We had a small hiccup with parking upon arrival and Tim was wonderful. We reached out to him and he was on it! In addition, he offered area suggestions and was very easy to communicate with. He was the perfect host! We had an amazing vacation and can't wait to visit again!

Oceanfront Second Story on Carolina Beach near Freeman Park

The accommodations were very much as described. The view was amazing and absolutely oceanfront. Location was great. We took our bikes so we were able to ride just a few minutes to get to some nightlife. Also, a ten minute walk to Freeman Park where our lab was able to run without a leash. Walked for 4 miles on Freeman Park Beach which was great. Beautiful out there. Would have liked to have walked to Freeman Park on the beach but some of the beachfront between our place and Freeman Park had some huge rocks on the beach preventing us from walking on that part of the beach. Walked to Freeman Park on the road. Pier had some damage from the last storm so that is closed now. Did go out on the Kure Beach Pier. Had everything we needed including a coffee pot. Found a Publix not far away. The inside of the condo is beachy and pretty rustic. It was clean though and the host was very receptive. Played a board game one day called Logos and that was fun. No problem getting connected to internet or getting games on tv that we wanted to see. Water in the showers was hot. We found the NC Aquarium and Fort Fisher. Definitely worth visiting. We also enjoyed the Fat Pelican (totally unique and definitely a must visit) and the SeaWitch (get the shrimp brushetta). We also found the Pilot House in downtown Wilmington. Very very good food and great vibe. Area down there fun to explore as well.
