Charming homestead with backyard chickens. Full kitchen and laundry room, plus enclosed front porch for entertaining. Just a short block walk from downtown coffee shops, bars, restaurants, and events. Street parking only. Please see rules for interacting with chickens.

NO PETS: We love pets, but please help keep our home allergy free for our guests and cleaning crew. If you bring a pet, we will ask you to remove it immediately. Failure to do so may result in eviction. Please note that there will be an additional cleaning fee of $100 per night anytime a pet enters the property. No exceptions. Thank you for understanding.
NO SMOKING: Please exercise your freedom to smoke outside of the home and porch areas. Please note that there will be an additional cleaning fee of $50 per night anytime there is smoking on the property. No exceptions. Thank you for understanding.
MAINTENANCE: Our mowing, snow removal, chicken keeping, and maintenance crews may show up during your stay. They will not enter the home without proper communication, but they do have access to the front and back porch, and may be on the property in the front, sides, and back yard.

You will love this home. The owners have thought of everything to make your stay as comfortable as possible. We really appreciated the fresh eggs waiting for us from the backyard chickens! Check in was seemless. Our host was very responsive to questions and really appreciated feedback to make future stays by us and othrs even better. I recently had the pleasure of staying at this wonderful VRBO property, and I can honestly say it exceeded all my expectations!The location was ideal for horse show at WEC. Classic restoration
This property was lovingly and skillfully restored and updated by the owner. As someone who herself has restored an 1880s Victorian in Michigan, I found his work impressive. Dustin's attention to detail, use of crisp clean lines & selection of hardware, furniture, etc. kept the charm of a small c.1900s cottage while making the home spacious and inviting. The kitchen is large and well equipped. The beds & bed linens were heavenly. Three international college students came for an evening and were impressed by the house and all that Dustin had done to update it. The comfortable sofas both in the livingroom and on the large enclosed porch were very inviting. I could say much more, but you get the picture.
