Slide View is a cozy chalet that will help complete your Adirondack experience with its majestic mountain views. This chalet offers 3 bedrooms and two full bathrooms with room for 7 people. Wake up and enjoy a cup of coffee in an Adirondack Chair on the balcony off the master bedroom. Come home after hiking, skiing or fishing and enjoy dinner on the front deck while enjoying your view of Whiteface Mountain. Everything has been remodeled with new furniture, hardwood floors and amenities throughout. The upstairs bedrooms have queen pillow-top beds and the downstairs bedroom has a extra long twin over a queen bunk bed.
This Wilmington location is a three minute drive to Whiteface Mountain and a 15 minute scenic ride beside the Ausable River to the Olympic Village of Lake Placid.

Ski-cation 2020 - great chalet, great location

Great place to relax, ski, hike near Whiteface Mountain! Chalet was spotless and comfortable. Great communication with owners, no issues whatsoever! We had 4 people in our party and felt very comfortable. Kitchen well stocked for cooking if needed. Will come here again!

Fantastic rental. Had everything we needed. Accommodated our party of 6 well (3 adults, 3 children 16&under) although only dining seating for 4. Grill and fire pit available. Wi-Fi at the cabin was great and definitely needed. Other cabins close but we were still plenty secluded and didn’t hear neighboring cabins much. 15ish minute drive to Lake Placid Main Street shopping. Smoke Signals on Main Street has amazing BBQ and the outside patio offers great dining views. Close to many hiking trails. Highly recommend Mt. Jo. Flume Falls is about 3 minutes away for a swimming hole with cliff jumping available. Ausable Chasm was a bit of a tourist trap. Expensive for what you get although still fun especially for younger children & those who are looking for more of a walk.

Perfect family spot

I stayed here with my husband, kids (ages 3 and 5) and parents. The chalet was perfect for our family. It was clean, and there was plenty of space. One evening we enjoyed some s’mores around the fire pit. I definitely recommend this chalet and would stay here again if we’re back in the area!

Amazing Ski Trip

What a great trip. The house worked perfect for us and was so close to Whiteface the truck wasn’t even warmed up when we got there. The house had everything you could need. The driveway was also cleared of snow while we were here. We utilized the grill most nights but did have a great dinner at Rick’s Scar Bar which was less than a mile away. I think we got the best week of skiing the entire season. Snowed over 30 inches while we were here and we even got an epic powder day in!! So glad we got to see this beautiful place. Would recommend Slide View Chalet to anyone and can’t wait to make it back up to Whiteface and the Adirondack’s. David

Cozy Chalet

The Chalet was conveniently close to Whiteface and many restaurants. My husband and I enjoyed the cozy, homey feel. It was like a home away from home. We would definitely stay here again.

Lake Placid Weekend

Tucked into a quiet Wilmington neighborhood, the Slideview Chalet was a great place to stay while visiting Lake Placid. Cozy, yet roomy enough for our party of three. The furnishings were very tasteful and the bedding was delightful after a long day of outdoor activity. Ideally located barely 3 minutes to Whiteface Mountain and a short scenic drive to the other Olympic venues. Beautiful Mountain views from the front deck where we had morning coffee and evening refreshments. We had a great time, thank you for your hospitality!

Awesome Family Getaway

This property was exactly as described. The Chalet was awesome, the furniture was unique, and the location and view was more than we could ask for. We wanted our Granddaughters to have an Adirondack experience and this was a perfect place for it. Although our stay at the Chalet was for only 2 nights the memories we made there are forever. Next time we hope to be able to have a longer stay.

Iron Man Lake Placid stay

We stayed here while doing IronMan Lake Placid. It’s about 20 minutes away from race site but a beautiful peaceful getaway. The house is small but very clean and perfect for a family of four.

Our lovely stay in Wilmington New York

Everything was great! Check in was smooth, key left for us.. the house was clean, we had an issue with the refrigerator...was looked into almost immediately...the house... BEAUTIFUL.., the view, BEAUTIFUL!! Location is great, in close proximity to many of the treasures that the area has to offer. Would most definitely rent this home again!

Great spot!

I stayed here with 2 friends for 2 nights while we did day hiking in the area including Mt. Marcy. The place was very clean and comfortable. We really enjoyed our stay.
