Vacation Getaway on Lake Martin only 35 minutes from Auburn

"Awesome place. We brought a few of my son’s soccer team up to see a “friendly” World Cup game. The place was just what we needed , flat front yard for the kids to play, pool table, and canoe for mini adventures. Oh yea, basketball court too, which could use a new net but was still a great addition I didn’t see pictured. Host(s) were overly helpful with questions. We can’t wait to come back next time as a family. Lots of spiders on the dock which is a quick pest control fix and kept us from night fishing the lights on the dock, but we still enjoyed it so much."

"We had a wonderfully relaxing, quiet getaway. The host was incredibly accommodating and kind, responding to every question within hours. Although the check-in email warned that GPS might lead to the wrong entrance, we found it took us directly to the correct one without any issues. The sunset we witnessed was one of the most beautiful we've ever seen and having access to a private beach for kayaking and a pier for fishing was fantastic, especially for my son.However, some maintenance and cleaning details need to be addressed. Just to name a few: the screen in the master bedroom was torn and despite blocking it with a towel, a large number of lake bugs got into the room. The main balcony had a lot of bug debris and cobwebs and housekeeping should pay a bit closer attention to wiping down kitchen cabinet doors and bathroom walls, as well as checking lightbulbs and remote batteries. Additionally, we had to enter the access code TWICE each time we used the door. Since we visited during the week, many of the restaurants listed in the welcome packet were either closed or out of business. (Future guests may want to keep in mind that the area is quite isolated, with major supermarkets a significant drive away.) These really were minor issues in the grand scheme of things and they wouldn't stop us from returning. I'd love to connect with the host privately to share more details, because addressing these small things would easily have turned a great stay into a remarkable one!"

"The property was one of the best B&Bs I have ever had the pleasure of staying at. A private, secluded area with all amenities present and a perfect location for exploring! The host was very wholesome, and rapidly responded to all of my questions. Will definitely rent again if I am in the area!"

"Amazing stay, would highly recommend for a couple or a family! My family of 6 had the best time, all of my kids had a spectacular time fishing, kayaking, and swimming. My husband and I sat on the porch and drank our coffee every morning and watched the geese and ducks. Thank you for a wonderful stay"

"We were spending time with our daughter who is at Auburn for the summer and also attending NCAA regional baseball games. The property was convenient and accommodating for our families’ needs. Blue Creek boat rentals at Harbor Point Marina was exceptional for a pontoon rental. The outdoor furniture was in a bit of disrepair and the kayak was not usable. We very much enjoyed the paddle boards and lily pad. Also some of the bath towels provided had large holes in them. Because we came by plane, we appreciated the toiletries, dish soap and laundry detergent."

"Fantastic time at this beautiful lake front condo! The unit was clean, well maintained, spacious and stocked with everything you need. The host was very responsive to any inquiry we had. The family loved the resort style pool with water slide. We will definitely be back!!"
