"Air conditioner was noisy, which made it hard to sleep. Room was clean. It was an older renovation and showed signs of wear. The staff were very helpful. The grandkids enjoyed the pool which was in good condition. Air conditioners leaked water on the second floor balcony which created a slipping hazard."

Quite easy to do . . . until I just received our bank statement and the $476.20 was taken out . . . we never checked in !!! I paid the extra $11 and cancelled due to a medical emergency for a friend. PLEASE adjust "

"The property was very clean and well maintained. The thing I didn't like were the window blinds were terrible. The sun was beaming in through the window blinds making the living and kitchen area hot and stuffy. The style of blinds worked well with the decor but the blinds were not functional"

"It was a beautiful location to stay while visiting the Ark. Three most noteworthy things to be aware of when booking a tent is 1.) vehicles are not allowed to be parked in the tent area (you can unpack/pack your vehicle by your tent though), 2.) with only canvas between you and the outside, you hear EVERYTHING. You can hear every word of your next door neighbor just like they can hear every word from you in your tent. There was a garage truck that went through at 0400 Sunday morning and the AirLife helicopter station is right up the hill from the tent which went on a rescue mission at 0100 Monday morning. As long as you are aware of the noise capabilities of the tent area then you should enjoy the charming area. And 3.) the very clean toilets and showers are up the hill next to the tent parking area. It’s not a long walk, but still up a small hill. We really enjoyed our visit at the tents despite the interesting series of events/noises throughout both of our nights there."

"Our family had been waiting ten years to take this special trip to Kentucky to visit the Ark Encounter and the Creation Museum. Staying at Sherry’s beautiful century-old family farm was the perfect place to rest and recharge after our busy days of exploring.Traveling with a large family (teens down to toddlers) can be exhausting, but the moment we arrived at “My Happy Place,” we knew we had found something special.The home is incredibly comfortable, peaceful, quiet and welcoming, making it the ideal retreat at the end of each day.Sherry is a gracious and thoughtful host who truly embodies genuine hospitality. Sharing her historic family farm with travelers is such a gift and it made our experience even more meaningful and memorable.If you are planning a visit to the area, look no further. This property exceeded our expectations in every way!Thank you, Sherry, for helping make our family trip so memorable and unforgettable!"
