This completely renovated single level duplex offers 700 sq. ft. with 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom and an attached 1 car garage. The adjoining unit (which is the mirrored image) is connected via the garage. There are peak-a-boo views of East Bay from each unit. Located only 10 minutes from downtown Traverse City and directly off of the TART trail which provides a walking and biking path into downtown Traverse City.
This is a Duplex where the units join via the garage. There is no dividing wall in the garage, so you will share that space with the other unit. Interior walls are divided by the laundry rooms. The space comfortably accommodates four people, but can accommodate five if there is a child (sleeping space is the couch which does NOT have a pull-out bed ). Renovation includes all new exterior siding, windows and doors. Interior has all new Luxury Vinyl Plank flooring throughout, windows, doors, and fresh paint. Kitchen has new cabinets, sink, butcher block countertops along with updated appliances. Bathroom has new vanity, toilet and bath/shower combo.

The backyard is very spacious . A patio area with dining and grill will be available for guests to enjoy the beautiful Northern Michigan weather. Please note that the backyard is not fenced in. There is a privacy fence dividing the two units. So if you are brining a dog, please do not leave your dog unattended outside.
This lovely duplex is located only 10 minutes from downtown Traverse City and 15 minutes to beautiful Elk Rapids! We are located directly off of the TART trail which provides a walking and biking path into Traverse City. You can even bike from the house to Suttons Bay if you're up for the adventure! You can access many restaurants off this recreation trail. Bayside Market is about a 15-20 minute bike ride for reference. This duplex is less than 5 minutes from the North American VASA trail system which is great for mountain biking and hiking in the summer and cross country skiing, fat tire biking and snowshoeing in the winter.
We are located in a commercial district with a mix of residential homes and businesses. You pull in off of US-31 into a drive with two smaller multiple use office buildings. Behind the businesses are residential homes where the duplex is located. Beautiful East Bay is just across US-31 along with a roadside park and a small boat launch. The TART Trail is just steps outside of our duplex where a 2 minute walk will get you to the new Stone Hound Brewing Company or the Bayview Bar and Grill is a couple minutes in the opposite direction. Or take the bikes provided and find many other restaurants and even bike into downtown Traverse City. That'sa Pizza is minutes away- great pizza and menu!

This was a great spot as home base for the horse show and then getting out to do things as a family. Loved being so close to the lake and doing sunset swims! Also nice to walk to the brewery and a couple restaurants. Was a great place to stay!
Everything was great. Very clean, comfortable place that is well stocked. A few things were missing, but the hosts (who were surprised to hear the things were missing) were very responsive and eager to remedy any concerns. Would stay there again without any reservations at all!!
I thought the location of the property was excellent. There was walking distance access to Traverse Bay. There was grocery and restaurants close. The space was clean and up dated. I was very satisfied.
We stayed over July 2nd and 3rd and had a great time! Instructions were clear and concise and access to the garage and laundry was a big bonus. No complaints here- thanks Michelle!
My husband and I stayed at this unit for two night. We found it to be very clean and cozy. Very convenient to everything in traverse city. The bed was very comfortable. Check in/out process very easy to follow. We would definitely stay there again. There was an added bonus- the TART trail was just outside the front door.
I stayed here for 3 nights with my family and dog. It was a great place to stay with a pet when visiting the area. Everything was very clean and very comfortable. We enjoyed the view of the bay and spending time in the back yard. We liked the fact that the TART trail is right by the house, so we had a great place to take our dog for a walk. Communication with the owner was great and we didn't have any issues during our stay.
The duplex is exactly as listed. The property manager answered my questions efficiently. We had one minor issue, and they fixed it quickly. The only tricky thing was turning onto 31 during heavy traffic. I highly recommend this property.
This is really a very nice space. It's clean and open and provides everything a person needs. It is so much more than even the pictures represent . The location is really handy and the hosts recommendations are so helpful in orientating guests to local food, recreation, beaches, restaurants and just general things to do. I was so comfortable in this private little "home away from home". The bed was super comfy. Michele was very accommodating and really was an excellent communicator when I needed things. If I returned to this area I wouldn't think twice about staying here again.

My husband needed to be in Traverse City for some business travel, and we decided to make a brief vacation out of it. This location was perfect for what we needed! It was close driving distance to downtown Traverse, as well as the clients he needed to visit for work. We brought our dog with us, and the house was perfect for him as well. Everything was comfortable, very clean, and freshly redone. They left us a sweet gift and note as well, and the owner reached out during our stay to make sure everything was going well, and make sure we had what we needed! The place came outfitted with bikes, which unfortunately we didn’t have time to use. Next time!
