The hotel service/staff were excellent. The hotel was very clean and provided a very peaceful quiet environment. Location was great for Colonial Williamsburg and Busch Gardens. The elevator however was very slow.

From the moment I entered the staff was extremely kind , pleasant and friendly. That made our stay in Virginia even more enjoyable. The indoor pool was clean and warm which our kids enjoyed . Bush Gardens is just 15 minutes away from the property which is a plus . Last but not least the daily breakfast was hot and delicious . Will definitely choose to stay here in our next trip to VA.

Excellent all suites accommodation. Onsite bar/restaurant and the free breakfast made this a great choice for our family of 5. Also traveling with a pet so the pet friendly accommodations were a plus for us.

Wonderful visit~quiet room, comfortable bed, front desk staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was amazing and those cooking and helping were so sweet and happy. Thank you for a really nice weekend.

An excellent place in the heart of the area. We had a blast, we will be back. I wish the pool water was warmer in the winter since there isn’t a hot tub. Loved the staff and the reception in the evening and the breakfasts were the best in the hotel business. My favorite was the lady making the omelettes. She is a gem.

My husband and I (and dog) stayed here for 3 nights. The staff is excellent. Steven worked the front desk every day we were there. He always greeted our dog by his name, asking him if he wanted to be the “desk dog”. We were put in a pet room, as expected. Brought some Febreeze with us and got the minor smell out — no problem. Evening social and breakfast were nice. The grounds were well lit so although there were the occasional homeless people walking along the street, I did not feel unsafe.

Great stay
We enjoyed a quick one-night stay at the hotel when visiting Busch Gardens. The staff was fantastic, we had a great and filling breakfast, and slept in a nice large room. The breakfast staff was very helpful and kind. Everyone went above and beyond. Highly recommend if in the area.

Wonderful night.
We has an excellent stay. Staff was so friendly and helpful. There is a reception at the bar with small snacks and complimentary drink. Breakfast was very good every morning and staff were extremely friendly. It even has an omelete bar. Our last night at the hotel the fire alarm went off. Everyone left the buidling in an orderly fashion. The fire department came and we were let back into the hotel. Special thank you to the hotel staff, fire department, and EMS for their help.

Staff were friendly and helpful. Room was decently clean, but showing wear and tear. Breakfast the best ever at any hotel chain. Reception hour not as great as in years past, but okay.

Rooms okay. Needs some updating. Breakfast was ok. Ran out of cups, plates and never could get omelettes as too long of line. Had better breakfasts at other hotels. Disappointed in overall looks, beds not especially comfortable and pullout sofa horrible to sleep on.

From the second we checked in the service by the staff was excellent. Very accommodating for our family. The evening reception and breakfast was fantastic. The cooks and servers along with the nice lady cleaning the tables made it so easy for us to enjoy ourselves.

Not typical.
We've stayed at this hotel twice before, this being our third time. I think we may have just gotten a bad room, because the HVAC system was so loud we couldn't get any sleep. Then in the morning the breakfast service team was all pretty grumpy, and slow. Generally we love staying here when visiting Williamsburg, and will likely stay again. However this particular trip was only so-so.

Small surprise
Hotel was very clean and staff quite pleasant. Overall space in rooms and breakfast area is much smaller than any other Embassy Suites that I have ever stayed so that was unexpected and a bit disappointing.
