"The hotel is wonderfully located right beside the river, very close to nature. It is very quaint and room was very clean. Pleasantly surprised to find an elevator in the 3 storey building, very thoughtful. Breakfast was huge and excellent. Owners were very nice. "The location of this hotel is good, and it was clean, staff very nice, but it's a pretty run down old hotel, and our room was really small and terribly hot, even with the window open, and the fan running 24 hours, it was still really hot.

"Good Location easy access to motorway and walkable to town centre in 5/10 minutes which has some lovely restaurants, Good power shower. Nice outside space and secure gated parking on site.
Slow Wi-Fi in our room just 1 bar but maybe different for other rooms. Decor needs update and carpets etc bathroom was ok ish but could do with a thorough clean. Very strange Bar payment system having to collect tokens from reception to pay for any drinks in bags of €20 euro. Drinks 8 euro for half litre beer. Breakfast was buffet mostly cold as the food warmers didn’t give much heat but a few different cold options. "

The photos of the rooms on Expedia don't reflect the rooms, or at least the one we had. Our room on the first floor facing the car park smelt of cigarettes, possibly from people smoking directly downstairs. There are some seatings to the front of the hotel where smoking is permitted so you always walk in to the smell of it.
When someone came to clean our room, they knocked over many of the items in the bathroom including the toothbrushes which were all left for us to pick up.
Our room had a pod coffee machine and paper cups, not very environmentally conscious.
There are other places in town I would try next time, especially for the price we paid for our stay. "
