"Die Ferienwohnung befindet sich in einem Bungalow unweit des Haupthauses, umgeben von einem sehr gepflegten Garten. Die Wohnung hat alles was man braucht, Kühlschrank mit großem Eisfach, 2Herdplatten, Spüle, Toaster, Kaffeemaschine, TV & WLAN. Die Zimmer sind Stilvoll eingerichtet, samt Möbel und Bad in einem sehr gepflegten und sehr sauberen Zustand. Der sehr nette und hilfsbereite Vermieter, hat immer ein par Tipps zu Ausflügen in der Umgebung parat, natürlich in Österreicher Dialekt."

"We had a little difficulty finding the right door, despite excellent picture instructions. Self check-in was easy.Wonderful White is on the second floor. The staircase and floors are beautiful. The apartment was spacious, especially for just the two of us. One bedroom was decorated for children with games and toys. Beds were very comfortable and kitchen nice, although we only used it for breakfast.The village is charming. The location is very convenient for day trips."

En de sleutel overdracht was erg lastig een halfuur voor het huis gestaan de werkster heeft ons binnen gelaten en melde dat ze het ook een lastig systeem vond. "If you’re planning to visit Melk Abbey, be aware that Hotel Donauhof is not within walking distance—you’ll need to take a taxi, which costs about €16 each way. Alternatively, there's a bus that runs only once per hour. The hotel provides no in-room amenities—not even, tea or bottled water—and there is no air conditioning, which can be uncomfortable in the warmer months after June. There are no activity area around the hotel, with no restaurants nearby except the hotel’s own. During our stay, the elevator was out of order, and we had to carry our suitcases up the stairs. If you're visiting Melk Abbey, I would recommend staying in Melk itself. You'll find similar or lower prices, access to a charming small town, and several dining options within walking distance. "
