"Didn't use the pool. It was a quick stop on the way home after a family funeral. The breakfast was ok. Pretty limited, but for the price of the room, I wasn't expecting a lot. Coffee was strong and the juice was fresh. BONUS in my book, whenever I stay in a hotel is a FAN in the bathroom ....... you'd be surprised at haw many places DON'T and that can become a mold and mildew issue (to which I ALWAYS react to). Great location. Lots of dining options nearby. Fairly easy to get on and off of the Interstate."

"I had booked two rooms well in advance as we were moving my mother from gaylord. It was a gift for her 94th bday to make it a place to get out of the chaos of moving and enjoy her favorite activity a hot tub. In fact the hot tub is featured in the picture in their ad on hotels.com. When I called to see if my rooms were ready I asked how far we were from the hot tub. I was informed the hot tub in our building was not working and we would have to drive to the other building to the other hot tub. I actually tried to call hotels .com to see if I could get my money back but got disconnected at some point. I decided to stay and when I checked in Josh at the front desk tried to solve the problem but unfortunately the building with the working hot tub was booked solid. Just very disappointing when it was supposed to help my mother relax through a stressful time. Having to drive back to our room in damp bathing suits and to have to get in and out of the car a couple times ( hard when you’re 94). Rooms and facilities were definitely dated need a little love for sure. Breakfast buffet was also disappointing $22 for basically what you get for free at a lot of other hotels . If you golf or ski I’m sure it’s worth the convenience otherwise find somewhere else"

"Great location. Room was clean. Staff was helpful. My son and I took the kayaks out for a spin on the river. Close to Harbor Spring, Petoskey and Mackinaw Island. The breakfast was above the typical hotel food station. There is a fire pit overlooking the river along with a barbeque. Very nice place compared to a couple of other hotels on the way back to Montana."

"We had a fantastic weekend at the house - it was stunning throughout, with every room beautifully done up in interesting art and little touches that gave it real character. There was no shortage of things to do: we had a great time downstairs with all the games, relaxed in the hot tub, went swimming off the dock, and admired the stars at night. The space worked perfectly for our group: plenty of room to gather together, but also quiet spots for downtime. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed, and we appreciated the extra items (napkins, plastic forks) on hand as backup. The sound system was a great touch throughout, with TVs in so many rooms, and the extra AC unit in the carriage house suite made a big difference keeping everyone comfortable.Jim and Jill were wonderful hosts — kind, responsive, and quick to help.A few small notes: the AC for the living room in the main house wasn't working on arrival, but Jim came by and had it fixed by the 2nd day. The towel rack in the main floor bathroom was sitting on the toilet rather than mounted but Jim got it up. The tech walkthrough ran a bit long — a written guide to review ahead of time would help. And there's no ladder to get back onto the dock, so getting out means hoisting yourself up or swimming to the stone beach - worth it, but pack water shoes, as it can be slippery.Overall, a beautiful home with a lot to offer - we'd happily stay again. It was an absolutely magical space and we already miss it!"
