Communication with her before and during our stay could not have been any better and she obviously put a lot of love into the decoration of the cottage. "Easily the worst overnight stay I have encountered anywhere in my travels. We had no working water heater the first 24 hours so none of us could shower. The floors were sticky. We killed two sizeable spiders in the unit. The whole place smelled like chemicals but I couldn’t quite place what they were. Every shower had mold and mildew (and gross amounts of caulking) and mine included a sliver of dried bar soap complete with black speck inside the soap dish. The pillows were the kind you might...

"Bathrooms were tiny, had no mirrors and hot water did not work in one. Remote for one tv did not work. Lighting was poor in kitchen and dining room. Pull on one drawer was broken. Exposed wires in dining room. Cushions did not fit in living room. Needed better instructions for stove."

"The house is a very short walk to the town center with stores, restaurants and pubs. I appreciated the large, private, off street parking lot. The inside is very clean and new, and had been recently updated. It felt very comfortable, like home almost immediately. Eileen was very communicative, and extremely welcoming (left us a couple of welcome gifts!) We cannot wait to come back to Killarney!"

"We wanted to relax and this cottage was perfect. The beach is 30 seconds walk, the view is breathtaking. We relaxed, played games, read, talked around the open fire, swam, walked and just chilled. No tv, no screens (although there is Wi-Fi), we detached from the phones and iPads and let our brains breathe. Will be booking again for next year or maybe even during winter. Tony and John were so helpful yet respectful of our privacy. Can not fault the cottage or the area. Loved every minute."
