Holiday Home near Opal Coast Wierre-Effroy

This modernized 2 bedroom holiday home in Wierre-Effroy is ideal for a small family. You have a beautiful terrace with picnic table that borders the green lawn. The picturesque village of Wierre-Effroy has a wooded area with all kinds of cultural and sporting activities within easy reach.

Here you will also find Chapelle Sainte-Godeleine. For a day at the beach you can go to Boulogne sur Mer (vieille ville and Nausicaa) or the elegant seaside resort of Touquet-Plage. Via a country road you arrive at this perfectly maintained holiday home on a beautiful domain just 15 minutes from the Opal Coast . The house of the homeowners and a second holiday home are also located on this domain, but you have complete privacy.

The house is furnished to contemporary comfort with, among other things, a spacious bathroom, an attractive wood stove, electrically operated blinds and good quality beds. The house, garden and surroundings are also perfect for your four-legged friend! If you travel with 2 families, you can also rent house FR-62720-01, located 50 meters away.

We rented both houses with 4 people and 2 dogs - and spent a very relaxing time (end of Sept-beginning of Oct 2023). Both are very well equipped, you did not have to take anything with you. Julien was a very attentive and friendly host from start to finish.

Dies ist eine schöne Gîte in einer wunderschönen Gegend Frankreichs, bequem für 4 Personen. Alle erforderlichen Annehmlichkeiten waren vorhanden, darunter zwei Fahrräder und ein Holzofen mit kostenlosem Holz. Der umzäunte Garten ist ideal, wenn Sie Ihren Hund mitnehmen, und bietet im Sommer dank des Schattens der umliegenden Bäume eine angenehme Abkühlung. Die Unterkunft ist trotz Burgen, Wäldern und/oder Stränden gut für zahlreiche touristische Ausflüge geeignet. Nichts ist mehr als eine Stunde entfernt. Julien ist der perfekte Gastgeber. Bei der Ankunft kam er und verbrachte Zeit mit uns, um zu erklären, was wir in der Gegend unternehmen können, und er schickte uns sogar per E-Mail alle Informationen, die wir zu Stränden und Wäldern brauchten, um mit unserem Hund spazieren zu gehen. Das Restaurant um die Ecke eignet sich hervorragend für ein gutes hausgemachtes Essen und ist überhaupt nicht teuer! Die freundliche Kellnerin war sehr beschäftigt, aber wir mussten nie warten. Das Wetter während unseres Aufenthalts war mies, aber die Unterkunft war nie ungemütlich. Wir nutzten sogar den Weber-Grill, der uns zur Verfügung stand, obwohl es (leicht) regnete! Wir können Juliens Gîte auf jeden Fall weiterempfehlen!

Lekker stil om te verblijven. Mooi huis. Alleen de tv is niet echt geweldig. Via satelliet, oké maar alleen duitsezenders. En een paar Franzezenders. De afstandsbediening voor de is een ramp. Het water in de keuken mag wel warmer ivm afwassen tussendoor. Verwarming is oké. Bed is wat smal voor twee personen. Verder lekker buiten zitten onder een grote appelboom.

Sehr schönes Gîte in ländlicher Lage mit komfortabler Ausstattung

Das gemütliche und komfortabel ausgestattete Ferienhaus in idyllischer Lage mit privaten Garten ist ein hervorragender Standort für einen Urlaub an der Cotê d’Opale. Innerhalb von zwanzig Minuten Fahrzeit sind zahlreiche lange Sandstrände erreichbar und an fast allen durfte unser Hund komplett frei laufen. Wir haben hier im September zwei sehr erholsame Wochen verbracht und wurden äußerst freundlich und hilfsbereit von Herrn Duwat betreut.

It was a fabulous stay at this gorgeous property! We were sad to be leaving as it almost started to feel like home. Our host gave us a wonderful welcome, and we appreciated all the amenities, how clean and sparkly the whole house is, the maintenance, the small details, and excellent garden and outdoor facilities! The kitchen, dining, and living room area is spacious, bright and large glass doors open onto the garden terrace. The master bedroom looks onto a quiet end of the garden which makes for a stunning way to wake up. The large, modern bathroom is excellent, there is a second WC, a laundry, children's room, the whole house is well lit, and all windows are equipped with electric roller shutters. We shall miss sitting beneath the old apple tree in the evenings and enjoying the serenity of this beautiful property which is surrounded by large, old trees. Our two rescue dogs had the time of their lives here too! One couldn't get enough of chasing the fallen apples, and the other, even though deaf and blind, was safe to wander around and have little adventures. The whole property is thoughtfully fenced off so that dogs can run freely in the back garden. The surrounding countryside made for beautiful walks through corn and wheat fields, small forests, and visits to local bakeries, cheese makers, castles, and the historic Opal Coast with its stunning beaches. We hope to return one day in the future, it was a superb week in a very charming place with a great host!

Wat een fijne plek is dit! Een oase van rust in een schitterende omgeving. De opaalkust is echt schitterend. Het huis is heel schoon en van alle gemakken voorzien. De tuin is ook heel fijn om te zijn. Je kan er tevens badmintonnen en tafeltennissen. Daarnaast is de beheerder ook heel aardig. Komen graag nog een keer terug!

Location agréable et région splendide

Propriété située dans un grand corps de ferme, totalement indépendante, jardin avec jeux pour enfants (ping pong badminton). Très bien agencée et agréable. L'accueil, l'amabilité et la disponibilité de M. Duwat est très appréciable. Un grand merci. La région: La côte d'Opale est magnifique, les 2 caps (cap blnc nez et cap gris nez) offrent des balades très agréables. Les plages sont grandes et on profite de la mer pour se rafraîchir. Pour les passionnés de la grande guerre il y a de quoi faire, musées, fort, citadelle, base secrète etc... Calais avec son Beffroi, sa super plage, son phare et bien sûr son Dragon est une ville qu'il faut absolument visiter. Nous avons passé un très bon séjour et nous ne manquerons de revenir dans cette location quand nous reviendrons dans la région.

We werden heel hartelijk ontvangen door Julien Duwat. De accommodatie is op een uiterst comfortabele wijze ingericht. Toen het op een avond wat kouder werd functioneerde de electrische verwarming fantastisch.
