"This is a modern hotel, with excellent location. Excellent desk service and the breakfast is indeed something special. Fresh and beatiful bread offerings with outstanding options for a breakfast in every way possible. Walking is possible to just about the whole core of Lörrach. Also, the breakast person does everything to make it the highlight of the day!!"

"Great location, fantastic chef/owner who is very personable and always cares about the patrons. Been returning to this hotel for the past 8 years. The food, wine pairing are incredible reflecting the talent and the passion of the owner. Wonderful Baden-Württemberg in southwest Germany, on the edge of the Black Forest. Spa and pool complete the package and its location ideal for a short stop to continue travel to France, north or south Germany or for spending a few days exploring Freiburg. "

"We had a great stay in the hotel, for 3 days while we were visiting the nearby Christmas markets in Freiburg, Colmar, Riquewihr and Strasbourg. Which all are in short driving distance and fast to reach. There is a cozy atmosphere in the hotel and the restaurant, who also serves great food. We really enjoyed our stay and will recommend this hotel, for anyone who is looking for a place to stay, while visiting the city’s nearby."

"Mir gefiel der authentische Charme der Unterkunft. Mein Einzelzimmer war inklusive des Bettes sehr gemütlich. Das Bad war älter, aber ebenfalls blitzsauber. Das Frühstück war vollständig inklusive leckerer Brötchen, Obstsalat, Rührei sowie gekochten Eiern und einer Müsliauswahl. "This is quite a modern unit, with new rooms and furnishings. The staff were most helpful. The parking was only €10 per day, which is reasonable. We did not take advantage of the breakfast (extra charge), but it looked good. There is an elevator. There was not a good night light in our room. One down-side might be the location, a ways out of town, but it was only a 10-15 minute drive into the city. The property is right next to a main public transit hub (bus and streetcar). Good air conditioning and free WiFi."
