Beautiful river cabin in the heart of the Tennessee River Gorge.

Beautiful place to take a break, in solitude,...fish, swim, no neighbors next door. Kayak rentals nearby. Just sit on the dock and enjoy the river, the view across the way, stars at night.
Enjoy our peaceful woodland cabin in the heart of the Tennessee River Gorge with beautiful views of the river and gorge...Sit by the fire pit and watch the sunset roasting marshmallows or hot dogs...watch the barges, kayaks, and boats go by...or geese, waterfowl, and wildlife. After cooking out on grill...dine out on the spacious screened in porch overlooking the river. Gather together in the evening and play games or cuddling up next to the fire with a book and/or loved one. This is a restful place surrounded by nature with all its beauty. Kayak the river or hike nature trails to the Prentice Cooper State Forest (part of the Cumberland Plateau). Enjoy all this within 30 minutes of downtown Chattanooga to explore. Our 3 bedroom/3 bath (with bunk room and loft) will sleep 10...accommodating family get togethers. We welcome families, children, and pets (although need to be aware it is on the river- so safety for children and pets important). This cabin does rent through CRAIG's List. We have outside security cameras for parking area.

River Cabin

The cabin was clean and maintained well. We loved the location and enjoyed the view of the river down by the fire pit. Highly recommend this cabin to all.

Wonderfully Relaxing Getaway

Our stay was wonderfully relaxing! We were able to meet up with relatives to visit and do some sightseeing in Chattanooga and the surrounding area!The house was perfect for our family and a great place to sit and embrace the beauty of nature surrounding us. We did a puzzle on a rainy day, sat on the deck for hours chatting, made meals together in the kitchen, tried fishing off the dock but weren’t successful. All in all everything you need is right at the house for the perfect getaway from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Thanks for the memories!

Nature at is Best

The property offered everything we were looking for, quiet and an escape from the hustle and bustle of life. The cabin offered everything needed for our stay and the best thing were the sights and sounds of nature. The location was perfect close enough to some of the tourist spots, but far enough for the quiet we were looking for. Our host was easy to contact and recommended several points of interest in the area. Looking forward to book again and highly recommend the area and cabin.

Beautiful. Clean. Stocked. Amazing location. Quiet. Simply gorgeous. It had everything we needed and there were even extras like COFFEE provided. Very nicely decorated. I had the best time with my family for my 50th bday girl’s weekend. Will definitely be back!

Little Piece of Paradise

This is a great cabin on the Tennessee River. We highly recommend booking this cabin. It had everything we needed. The view from the pier is beautiful. We are thinking of making this an annual location.

Great getaway place

Close enough to Chattanooga to easily find fun things to do but when you’re there it’s quiet and relaxing. It was exactly what we were looking for when we got married, everything was as perfect as we could ask for. Looking forward to going again.

Wonderful Trip

We had a wonderful trip and a great time. The cabin was off the beaten path and had a great pier to walk out into the river. Plenty of rooms and bathrooms and everything worked and went smoothly.

Secluded getaway!

Stayed with a group of old friends plus our children for a long weekend and thoroughly enjoyed our time! The location provides the opportunity to split your time between the city and the country and truly get the best of both worlds.I have never had more attentive hosts than we did here -- so helpful and available. The cabin itself is clean and beautifully furnished. We got rained out during much of our stay, but still found time to sit outside to take in the view and watch deer, turkeys, and a pair of bald eagles. We would love to come back in warmer weather so we can take advantage of the water as well!You won't regret booking this gem!

Quite Cabin

We enjoyed our stay. The house was exactly as described online. It was very quiet. Hardly any traffic down the horribly curvy road but it was nice. It took a long 30 minutes to get to anything, so make sure to get groceries and supplies before getting to the house. The river traffic was quiet too. We saw a couple of barges during our stay, which was neat.

Very clean and beautiful. Well-stocked kitchen. My favorite was looking out the window at the river. The last leg of our trip was an 11 mile ride down a pretty bumpy road but it added to the adventure!

Nice Quiet Get Away

The house is perfect for adults and families who want to get away from high traffic, noisy areas. Our family used it for a fishing vacation where we wanted some quiet solitude after we came off the river. I think the house would also be perfect for a family or group of adults wanting to explore the hiking trails in the area. The house is very comfortable, well equipped, and well maintained with a gorgeous view of the river and surrounding hills and mountains.

Making family Memories

My family thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this lovely cabin. We roasted marshmallows, fished from the dock, played foosball and Monopoly. The kitchen amenities worked out well for the six of us. Everyone slept well on the comfortable beds too. We enjoyed seeing the deer and cranes in the area. Morning and evening views from the deck were spectacular.

Family Memorial Day Getaway

Property and view are amazing!!! Owners were easy to reach and kind. Property matched photos, it was really cute. Minor complaints are, could use some larger cutting boards and some plastic bowls. Some of the decorations, like the fireplace are very dusty. 100% hope to return one day!
