Welcome to Hot Cocoa! Be among the first to stay here! A newly built 1 bedroom and 1 bath cabin.
Come to this cabin to have a great vacation and get away from it all. Fully stocked kitchen, washer and dryer, king bed, fire pit and lots of stars in the sky!

Master bedroom with glass sliding doors to the large covered porch. King size bed with all linens supplied. Comfy pillows. Large screen tv.
Living room has a comfy oversized couch and chair. Live edge wood dining bar with barstools. Large screen smart tv and blue ray DVD. (bring your Netflix passwords!)
Cabin has central heat and air.

Full bathroom with shower. Towels and washcloths provided. Hairdryer under sink.


Pack and Play childs crib available ON REQUEST.

Fully stocked kitchen. Full size stove, microwave and fridge. All utensils, plates, glasses, toaster, cookware, Keurig K cup coffee maker. (2 K cups provided).

Full size washer and dryer. (starter laundry items supplied)

Outside patio table offers a nice view. Propane gas grill. Large covered front porch with ceiling fans.
4 additional chairs around the fire pit. Fire pit is with twinkle lights. On clear nights this is the perfect spot to see hundreds of stars. firewood is not provided, please purchase locally at any nearby gas station. Marshmallow sticks are provided.

Cabin themed decor throughout. Lots of unique touches to really make you feel welcome.

This property has one neighbor, another vacation cabin we owned named Toasted Marshmallow. Perfect if you have a larger party but wanting your own space.

PLEASE READ!

Before you pack up and head to the mountains, know that when we say mountains, we really mean it!
Dillsboro NC elevation starts at 1,975 feet. Think of this as your starting point. If you want to get a beautiful mountain view, you gotta climb some mountains. Mountain roads are typically gravel, steeper, narrower and curvier than you may be use to driving. This is all part of our charm.
We do have one big hill to get up. It is gravel. We regularly drive a Hyundai Sonata up. While AWD vehicles make everything easier they are not required. Maintain an even speed (10mph) going up and you should have no issues.

Items NOT provided: shampoo, conditioner, body wash, bar soap, items of a personal nature. We do supply hand soap, dish soap, and starter laundry items.

Please note this is a SMOKE FREE property. Ashtrays are provided outside on the porch. If the home smells of smoke, you may lose part or all of your damage deposit for additional cleaning & odor removal.

*****This property is located off US 74 in a curve. You will hear road noise while outside. While it is not obtrusive it is noticeable, but we think the convenient location makes up for this.

*****This is a DOG friendly property, however we ask that you bring a kennel for your pet if you plan on leaving him/her alone at the house. We do charge a $45 non refundable fee for bringing your pet. If you are bringing your pet YOU MUST select the pet option at checkout. If you do not it will be taken from your damage deposit. DOGS ONLY

Little piece of paradise!

Property is so beautiful, the view from the porch is breathtaking. It’s perfect for two people. The bathroom is great, bed is comfy, and everything you need is there. Great for staying in, cooking, and relaxing. We really enjoyed staying here!

Very nice cabin

We really enjoyed our stay at this cabin. Chuck and Sandy communicated with us very effectively and answered all of our questions and ensured we had a pleasant stay. My favorite part was enjoying breakfast on the porch with my wife each morning. Very relaxing stay for both of us.

Cute cabin

This cabin was so cute and had everything you needed to enjoy your stay. Loved that we could bring our dog to enjoy our vacation with us. The area had lots of fun things to do and lots of great restaurants. Our favorite was The Diner in Waynesville on Main St.

The Hot CoCo Cabin is the perfect get away spot!! We went to get away and relax and it was easy to do here. The Mountain View’s from the hot tub are amazing!! Communication with the property owner was easy a quick response.

Wonderful Short Stay With Great Access

Clean cute property with plenty of room for 2! Well appointed for longer stays. We stayed two nights for a local wedding and really appreciated the match of seclusion with close proximity to the quaint town of Dillsboro which has several restaurants, drinkeries and shops. Glad to have had a taste of this part of the world and we will be back!

Loved the cabin! The place was so clean and private, everything you need was provided, the view was great, and the host was incredibly responsive. I would definitely stay here again. As noted in previous reviews, it is remote and 4 wheel drive is definitely needed, but that is what it private and made me like it even more!

Perfect Quiet Getaway

Very well maintained and beautiful little cabin. Close enough to do all the usual tourist activities, but far away enough be very quiet and peaceful. Couldn't have had a better experience. We will visit again!

Relaxing Getaway

This cabin was very clean, nicely decorated and well stocked with kitchen items. The deck, fire pit, and unique water fountain are fun features. The cabin is both cozy and comfortable. The location is close to several smaller and larger towns for easy site seeing, dining and shopping.

Anniversary Golf Trip

Wonderful cabin and experience at Hot Cocoa! Just me, the hubs and our dog Gracie. Enjoyed art fair in Dilsboro, golf at Laurel Ridge and Maggie Valley, and day trip into Cherokee. Close to so many things to do and relaxing just sitting on the front porch! Thanks Chuck and Sandy 😊

Hot cocoa

Nice, clean,well appointed. Drive in reported as steep, but we had no problem. Nicely located between Maggie Valley and Cherokee. A little too close to busy highway and train noise for me But we enjoyed our stay. Gates at ends of porch would be nice to keep our beagles contained.
