Villa 2 The Edge on Hamilton Island offers absolute oceanfront, modern living in a centralised, convenient location close to shops, the beach, amazing restaurants, and the swimming pool. Complete with a complimentary electric golf buggy, valet transfers and chilled wine upon arrival, everything has been considered to ensure your seamless transition into holiday mode.

The large oceanfront wet edge swimming pool is shared exclusively with the residents staying in this upmarket complex and is considered a premier pool on the island where you can cool down and enjoy stunning Hamilton Island sunsets. You also have access to the resort pools on the island, including one with a swim-up bar.

Villa 2 The Edge features split level living, perfect for families or groups of friends looking for space and privacy. Upstairs there is a spacious, comfortable living room with cool, leather lounges. Like most rooms in this villa, the lounge room also has picturesque ocean views. A large, wall-mounted smart television with Foxtel and a DVD player will keep you entertained.

Prepare meals in the gourmet kitchen whilst also enjoying the ocean and Whitsunday Views. Featuring granite benchtops the room has a large island bench and plenty of storage stocked with all you need to self-cater including a Nespresso coffee pod machine with a starter packs of pods, and ample crockery, cookware, cutlery, glassware and serving ware provided. There is a wine fridge, a luxury in the tropics, and a large 2 door fridge freezer. A dishwasher, microwave and large gas oven and stove complete the room. The breakfast bar has sliding glass stacker windows opening to reveal the picture postcard view beyond. You may choose to cook a true-blue Aussie gas BBQ on the deck with the BBQ supplied as the deck is furnished with outdoor living in mind. This is the perfect location to watch the boats as they sail past whilst you dine alfresco, or if preferred on occasion, you may choose to dine inside instead for a more formal setting.

The master bedroom suite is located on the lower level overlooking beautiful views over a private balcony with intimate seating for two. There is a lavish king-sized bed and floor to ceiling block out drapes. The large adjoining ensuite features an exquisite spa bath (with padded headrest) sitting majestically in front of a full-sized window allowing you to soak in the bath, whilst also soaking in the view. Twin sinks add to the luxurious feel and a large walk-in wardrobe completes the suite.

There are two further bedrooms located on the upper level and both are beautifully furnished with flat screen wall-mounted televisions, contemporary bedside tables, modern lighting and blinds, and plenty of storage including built-in wardrobes allowing you and your guests to feel at home. Bedroom two can be configured as you desire with a choice of either two single beds or one king bed, whilst bedroom three is furnished with a queen bed. There is a second bathroom with shower plus separate powder room and toilet on the entry-level. A second lounge room located just down the hallway from the master bedroom on the lower level, has a sofa which on prior arrangement, can be converted to a double bed. This room also has beautiful vistas of the ocean and Whitsundays from the balcony.

There is complimentary Wi-Fi for emails or web browsing and complimentary cot and highchair can be provided. You will also enjoy the convenience of a fully equipped laundry with top loading washing machine, dryer, ironing board and iron.

The marina boasts boutique shopping and restaurants and is less than a 5 minute walk away or take the 4-seater golf buggy if you prefer. In addition, there is a complimentary bus which circulates the island approximately every half hour which stops on Acacia Drive, just near the Edge Villas. On-island activities include among other things, mini-golf, bushwalking, tennis, go-cart racing, off-road adventure tours, quad biking for kids, art classes, Kegel bowling alley, pool table, video arcade, rifle range, spa treatments, DVD shop, great restaurants, hair and beauty salons, shopping, kids club and more.

You have options to cruise to famous Whitehaven beach, go sailing, sea kayaking, paddle boarding, jet-skiing, snorkelling, scuba diving and more. A trip to stunning Dent Island (short ferry ride) to play on the world champion golf course or to simply enjoy a meal at the Club House is a must. A stay at Villa 2 The Edge, will long be remembered.

2 families shared this accommodation and it was spacious for all - 7 people in total. Absolutely amazing views with enough room inside for everybody to have their own privacy. It was clean and comfortable and the Valet service picking us up and dropping us back to the airport was excellent.

After 2 years of lockdown in Victoria and 260 in ISO we needed a break together as a family and this place had everything. Space to be together and space to spread out, amazing views that soothed the sole.

Great location - very nice apartment
The apartment was well located and really well set up - had everything we needed. We immensely enjoyed our stay. Only two issues were a very uncomfortable sofa bed and no luggage storage in between our strict check out of 10am and flight at 2pm. The Villa maintenance people were no help but Luxury Holidays kindly organised us a buggy for the day at least. Would stay there again in a heartbeat but make other arrangements for flights!

Very cute property. We would stay here again.
We were greeted at the airport, provided transport to the property and given a short run down of how things worked. Having that service made the travel day so much nicer. The property was tidy and had plenty of space. We couldn't get the TV in the great room to work but we weren't there for TV and had other options of watching in the bedrooms. The clothes dryer would leak (for lack of a better way to describe it) white sandy type debris every time we used it, odd. The kitchen would get a little overrun with small insects so we had to be diligent with keeping food put up and wiping counters. It is an island location, so that's to be expected. The property was in a fantastic location and the buggy was perfect to get around the island. The pool was nice as well, a little cold but we were there in June Overall, we had a very nice stay and would return to this property.
