Everything was great. All accommodations were met. The property had all necessary items needed for the weekend. Would certainly book again if I come back to the area.
It was a nice location if you're trying to relax, and such a pretty drive to the house! We have a 3 year old, so we did go to Chattanooga a couple days during our stay to ride a train and do some hiking! We also went to the Cloudland state park which is nearby and that was nice too! Just drive around and you will be amazed, if you're not used to seeing mountains every day!
We found the cabin to be clean and updated with modern touches. The gps would have taken us past the house but it was easy to find. It is close to towns and attractions. The lake view was nice and we had a couple of black dogs say hello to us in the morning. After we gave them some love and back scratches, they laid at the door for a bit before meandering off. We are dog owners ourselves so we did not mind. It was our first time in an A-frame house. There is a bit of low head clearance at the bottom of the stairs to watch out for but it wasn't an issue for us. The fas fireplace was nice and it did put out some heat. All in all, we had a great weekend staying there.
This host is amazing great communication let us check in early checkout process was great also checked in on us every now and then to ask if we needed anything I have never stayed somewhere they did that and thought it was amazing
Had a great time over a getaway weekend with my wife and small dogs at this great property. Perfect location for what we needed in the area and a short distance to Chattanooga and all of the area attractions.
The a frame house was so cute and very comfortable. The views from the porch were beautiful. The owner was very easy to communicate with. I'd stay here again if I was in the Chattanooga area again.
We enjoyed our short stay at the Tiger Lilly. Location is quiet and remote, yet a good base camp for exploring Chattanooga area. Our kids called it "the triangle house" :) The upstairs access stairs are a bit cramped for tall people but otherwise the house was perfect. Excellent fiber wi-fi, which was helpful as cell service was spotty. The grounds and green lawn nextdoor were fun fot both kids and dog to roam. We enjoyed a dinner out on the porch and watching the river barges.
Overall its very nice, but small, 4 people MAX, Great views of the lake right out the front door. Huge front deck. Big driveway for your cars. Very clean, sharply refurbished in most areas. Beds need updating and the water pressure from the artesian well is pretty low - you might want to run up the PILOT for a quick shower.
Cute a-frame with lake view; clean but smallish.
Beds were comfortable but no door on one bedroom so not very private. Kitchen is small - no dishwasher; no bakeware other than cookie sheets, no storage bowls, etc so plan to bring your own or purchase locally like we did. We liked the property but would probably try another location if we return.
My family of 3 enjoyed our stay. Its fine for chilling and as a base for going into Chattanooga. As other reviewers have mentioned, understand the size of this place before you book it; the water pressure is a real challenge; the dogs mentioned in the description are dirty, outdoor living, country dogs who can/will bark morning, noon, and night, and will camp out right in front of the front door if allowed. This house is on a populated street so you will hear/see the neighbors and their motorcycles, boats, parties, etc. Like with anything, manage expectations and you might really like it here.
Big credit to the host. The listing is accurate. Poor cell service and no dishwasher. The checkout process is a little more labor intensive than most vrbo’s as they want all dishes cleaned before you leave. But they’re up front about that. The WiFi is great.
Beds are comfy. A couple of neighborhood dogs like to come visit. But don’t worry; they are very friendly.

Loose roaming neighborhood dogs ruined our stay
We brought our dog- he is fearful of other dogs because he had his leg broken by one. It was dark when we arrived and as soon as we pulled in, two black dogs jumped up on the side of our car. We had to drive back down the street in order to walk him so he could go to the bathroom. So it was stressful and we had to scout and make sure they were not around before we took our dog out. On arrival, we took our bags upstairs and went to put things in the bathroom- there were pubic hairs on the floor. Made me wonder when the home was last cleaned. The trash can was still at the bottom of the driveway on Friday even though trash pick up is Thursday- tells me no one did a quick walk through before we came. The roaming dogs were at the VRBO a lot. Called the management company and they were very dismissive and said they did not know who the dogs belonged to. If they are going to manage that property, it might be helpful to find out. Be aware , the staircase to the bedrooms upstairs is short and steep. Handrail only on one side. Older individuals or those with mobility issues might have a safety issue. Management company could use additional training in customer service recovery. Will never rent another property managed by this company.

Cute and Cozy
Decor was cute and Cozy good for a family of 4. Place was stocked well. There is no direct lake access and the house is not on the lake. The house is not the best outside setup if your going to vacation to chill and sit outside for a wonder picturesque view in the woods or on a lake, but we were out adventuring most of the time so it was perfect. Super clean and was big enough for me my husband and teenager to return to at night watch some tv and hang out.
What a wonderful little lake spot. Great spot across from The lake. Finishings are getting nice.
Would recommend this for a family of 4 or fewer.

Weekend getaway
This property felt very home-like & we were comfortable. Water pressure was not great in the shower. Farther out of town than what we had originally planned, the neighborhood was quiet and the home met our needs.
This cabin is very sweet. It was very clean and comfortable. The view is amazing. We had a lovely time and very much enjoyed our little get away. Ian was very helpful and kind. Thank you for allowing us to rent your cabin!
