Enjoy spectacular views of the Swan River from this luxury, fully-furnished and well-equipped condo located in downtown Bigfork. The views of the wild Swan River from the front deck will amaze you as they are unobstructed with the sights and sounds of a rushing whitewater Montana river just a few feet away. You will see nothing but the trees and river with the occasional exception of the wildlife that choose to visit. This 1330 sq foot condo plus 250 sq foot deck includes a gas barbecue and comfortable seating for outdoor dining. The master bedroom includes a queen-sized bed in the upstairs loft with its own bathroom and great views from the windows. The second bedroom has a queen-sized bed located on the main level with a separate bathroom that includes a jacuzzi tub. The kitchen and living area offer an open floor plan to maximize your enjoyment of the gorgeous views. The kitchen includes all stainless steel appliances and granite counter tops plus a dining table for 4. The kitchen counter has 3 bar stools for extra dining. The comfortable living area centers around a rock gas fireplace.
While you appear to be isolated in the wilderness at the Chickadee Chalet in the heart of Bigfork you are just one block from downtown shops, galleries, fine restaurants, live music and dancing. The Bigfork Summer Playhouse has live theater and professional productions that change throughout the summer with none of the hustle-bustle of a large city. Downtown Bigfork is also the center of all outdoor activities including fishing or sightseeing charters, bike rentals, kayak, canoe and paddle board, ski boats and jet ski rentals. Minutes away from the condo is the Swan River Nature Trail that runs the length of the famous 'Wild Mile' rapids. Run, walk, bike or fly fish along this beautiful hidden trail. The Eagle Bend Golf Course is a 500 acre, 27 hole course that is located 2 miles from downtown and offers the avid golfer the best in the valley. Eagle Bend is a public course and includes a restaurant and pro shop on site. We had a perfect long weekend at the chickadee! The location is so relaxing with the fabulous view of the river. The adorable town is just around the corner with great shopping. We also enjoyed the park just over the bridge, it even had live music. We will definitely stay here again!
This is a beautiful property. Well stocked, clean and comfortable condo in an amazing setting. The river views are breathtaking and the convenience to the village of Bigfork is perfect. Love this place and hope to be back soon.
Perfectly comfortable condo with a wonderful deck overlooking the river. All of Bigfork (at least the main tourist area) including shops, cafes, and restaurants are literally within 100 yards of this location.
This condo is the perfect place to stay in Bigfork to relax in luxurious comfort. Not only very well appointed but an ideal location to walk to restaurants and shops (great coffee shop right across the street!) and a stroll on the trail along the river.
The property is perfect for families meeting to enjoy the lake and outdoors. Well appointed kitchen for cooking shared meals, comfortable furnishings and beds, and very responsive host for those last minute questions. It is a perfect location to use as a base for Glacier NP and Flathead Lake, and just a block from the main street for the charming village of Bigfork. Thanks for a wonderful stay!

We rented this unit as well as 2 others for a family event. Beautiful condo and so well appointed. Our son and his family were very comfortable here. They were close enough to everyone for the visit yet had a retreat for the small kids to get their down time. Worked out so well - everyone was thrilled with their accommodations.

Perfect Combination of Charm and Convenience
The Chickadee Chalet is ideally located - with tremendous views of the Swan River off the back deck and a block or two from restaurants, shops, live music and Fieldheads coffee out the front door. The condo was comfortable and inviting. We hope we have the ability to return here in the future. Denise was a joy to work with. We highly recommend this condo and this town!

Great location and comfort
We really enjoyed the condo’s proximity to downtown Bigfork and Glacier National Park. Traveling with two couples, it was very nice to have our own bedrooms and bathrooms. The kitchen was fully stocked and we were able to prepare a lot of meals for ourselves. The music from the Garden Bar was noticeable but it never bothered us or prevented us from sleeping. The rushing waters of the creek off the balcony helped drown the bar noise out. We would definitely rent this place again!
All good but lacking kitchen towels/dish towels and of course a wine bottle opener 😂. Had to go buy one and lost my parking spot. Parking stinks as the whole town shares the same lot but if you sit in your car long enough one will open up. Overall great place outside of that.

Wish we could have stayed all summer!
This property is outstanding. Everything is brand new and so tasteful. If you like to cook the kitchen is equipped to the max. We loved everything about it, especially the views and sound of the River gushing out the back. Location is excellent....a 2 minute wLk from the Main Street of Bigfork where u can find wonderful restaurants, art galleries, gift shops and the biggest bonus of all. The summer theater. We brought our bikes and found endless biking, many smaller lakes in addition to flathead and tons of things to do (just 45 minutes from glacier national park). We definitely plan to return next summer!

Not really what it's cracked up to be
Bed upstairs is not a queen size, and not really comfortable for 2 adults. The noise from the Garden Bar across the way is incredible loud and annoying, even with all the windows shut. Band plays until 1am and when they don't play the music and partying goes to 2am. The location would be great if it wasn't for the noise. The unit was well equipped and the deck overlooking the Swan is really nice. Actually thought about staying there during the afternoon and finding a place to sleep at night.
Great place to stay. However the cancellation policy is very unreasonable and we will not be staying there again because of it. There are other properties in the same building that do not have a no cancellation policy.
A couple of things:
There was no designated parking spot for the condo.
Of all the places we have rented, this was the only place that did not return damage deposit.
It was beautiful to sit on the deck and listen to the water. Condo was very well stocked.

We had a little trouble checking in but we’re still able to contact someone at 11:00PM. The property was very well stocked. It was very clean except for a few of the kitchen cabinets and some dishes. It’s a perfect setting in downtown Big Fork with walking distance to a beautiful trail along the river. I would definitely stay here again.
Enjoyed our stay walking distance to the town. Really enjoyed the back patio overlooking the river which was running at the time due to rains in the previous week. We saw two Shows at the playhouse that we really enjoyed. Only recommendation is for additional towels they only had 4 for 4 people for the 4 nights. Another set per person would be nice so not to have to worry with washing them ourselves.
The property is situated one block from “ downtown” Bigfork. Darling and well appointed property with lovely furnishings and kitchen items. Very clean and light inside. You can hear the Swan River from the deck outside. We enjoyed the stay and the convenience to dining and the “not to miss” Bigfork Summer Playhouse performances.
The management was very responsive to inquiries.

Beautiful condo, loud, live music across the street
The property itself is very nice and as pictured. As a family with young children we are generally early to bed and early to rise, and unfortunately for us the property is across from a bar in "downtown" Bigfork. Whether just the summer season and/or weekend nights we stayed, there is loud, live music at the bar from 10:00p until about 1-1:30a, which you can easily hear since the bedrooms are at the front of the condo, closest to the bar. We were surprised (and disappointed) to learn there is no noise ordinance for the town. So if you stay up late anyways (it cannot be heard much if you are out on the back deck) and/or like going out for live music then this may be the place for you.
This rental property was absolutely beautiful! It was so much more than we had expected. We enjoyed being in town and were able to walk to many of the area restaurants/shops. Our evenings were spent on the patio enjoying the sound of the river. We will be visiting Bigfork again in the future and hope to book this beautiful property!
