The home was well appointed and the people were friendly. We had a little trouble navigating how to get in on the first day, but once we got all the codes it was easy. We would definitely stay there again. Great location!
The Aloha Retreat is a beautiful and modern condominium right in the heart of downtown Whitefish. Easy walking distance to all the restaurants, shops, groceries and nightlife and a short 15 minute drive to the Whitefish Ski Resort. The garage was perfect to keep the rental car out of the elements. Would recommend this location for a fun and effortless vacation in Whitefish.
This Three bedroom townhousewas laid out perfect and comfortable and literally steps away from all the major restaurants bars, and shopping. We will definitely stay here.
This place was almost perfect. Huge condo, good beds, lots of bedding, towels, etc. Location was convenient and walkable. Everything was clean and comfortable. We had a slight issue with check in as the door codes provided didn't work so I had to call customer service where I was informed that it was after hours (5pm on a Friday) and then wait a few minutes (30-45) for a reply. Other than the codes issue and the hosts response time everything was excellent and I'd definitely stay here again.
Location is good for walking in town. Catching the Snow Bus is not too far if you can find a locker for your equipment on the mountain. Stairs are a bit of a challenge with large luggage. Neighbors that live full time are not keen to noise. Must schedule showers/tub for full house if you want hot water. Overall, very nice place in a superb spot. Garage is a plus for storing a car out of the weather!

Location of Condo is great. Unfortunately there is only one bedroom with a door. Hard to believe it could be classified as a “3 bedroom 2 bathroom”. The upstairs 2nd bed is located in a “loft” area, not a bedroom. Hard to stay with a large group and only have one door for all bedrooms. The exterior glass door is a total pain to open and close to get onto the porch/ access the hot tub.
Exactly what we were looking for in our summer 2025 Western MT trip for my son who graduated from college. Five adults ages 22-81 from. Sourh Carolina there was something for everyone. It was a great location walkable to everything in town & easy drive to Glacier. Even crossed the border one day into Canada to see Waterton Lakes. Highly recommend. Loved the hot tub & Mountain View’s!!!! Loved staying here.
This was our first visit to Whitefish. This penthouse is so stunning, comfortable and felt like home away from home. The location is so convenient for walking around town. The art gallery on the first floor was fun to visit. The patio is amazing! The ease of check in and communication with owners was fantastic. We definitely will be back!
Great location! Nice place with a great balcony and hot tub. Owners responsive. A few caveats- elevator not working- not big deal- place is on 2nd floor- but would’ve been nice for luggage- garbage can was full- cleaners missed. FYI- there are no doors on the non master bedrooms- not a big deal- but I missed that looking at pictures
The unit was nice as the photos show and location was perfect. There are some things that we can comment on. 1. All beds are very soft. Both couples commented on this. That is not a particularly easy or inexpensive fix but certainly would be a big deal to bring us back. As is it’s a deal breaker. 3. The bed pillows are embarrassingly bad. Flat, hard and awful. That however is an inexpensive and ridiculously easy fix. Probably less than 50 for the entire unit. A nice pillow can make up for bad bed in many cases. 4. Lastly there was not a single box of tissues. Seemed very odd. Overall our stay was nice with the above being the few sour notes. Bill
Excellent location within walking distance to all downtown restaurants. Fire table was a nice addition to outside porch, but there was no propane. We arrived late night--would have liked better directions to the parking garage for our unit-- Was down an alley, not in the underground garage. The interior bedrooms had no doors limiting the privacy available. We feel that most guests would like to know this and it should be specified in the listing. With no doors and all hard surfaces, it was very noisy with little privacy. The patio is nice but you have to share it with all the diesel log trucks just a few feet away on the facing street making conversation challenging. Forget cracking the sliding door to the patio at night it's a cacophony of obnoxiously loud trucks. The guest bedroom bathroom opens into the main living area, this makes privacy a little awkward. Directions to the unit could be better as there are 2 garages available to the building and they didn't tell you which one to access. Elevator was nice, not having to lug all our gear up staircases. Unit was very clean. You need to know that the Master BR is up a long staircase (due to high ceiling) from main living area which is different from most condo setups. No bedroom doors is just odd.
The condo is conveniently located to the downtown. Everything is in walking distance and hiking trails are nearby. The condo itself was clean, spacious, nicely decorated and well stocked. The owners were responsive to questions. There is street traffic noise. Would definitely stay again.
Immaculate penthouse with everything you need for a great vacation. Amazing kitchen and open floor plan. The deck was perfect for catching the sunset after a long day on the trail. We look forward to our next visit.

Also - this property was **beautiful**. Gorgeous decor, well designed space, and top of the line amenities. We feel lucky to have had stayed here.
I do want to note: the property description doesn't make it super clear that there is only 1 bedroom with a door. The master bedroom has a door whereas all other sleeping areas are not behind closed doors. (Bedroom #2 off of the kitchen is down an open hallway - no door. Bedroom #3 is an open loft w/ bunk beds).
We would definitely request to stay here again, just with a different group dynamic. This is a great property for one family, it was a bit awkward for 3 separate adult couples.

Property was super nice and clean. Location is clutch. You are smack dab in the middle of downtown and everything is walkable. Only negative was how weak the neighbors are. Must be tough owning next to a rental property like this, but 10 pm quiet hours on Friday and Saturday night is laughable. Regardless, this property is definitely worth it. Just keep the hot tub volume to hushed tones I guess.
