This place offers a very convenient location for trips to Glacier National Park, complemented by attentive check-in staff. That said, guests should note that the Wi-Fi is limited and some rooms may carry a residual pet scent.
Last minute stay on a Sat and Sunday. In town for weekend Music festin Whitefish. Staff was extremely friendly. Couldn’t be more thankful for the hospitality shown. Clean rooms, comfy bed , cold AC and hot shower! Our room faced the street and it was quiet for the 2 nites we stayed.
Would stay again without hesitation.
The Staff was very nice easy to check in and out. The room was very clean.

Disliked: Property conditions & facilities
Place was under construction. Drilling next door at 7 am. They should not have rooms available next to ones that are getting redone. Sure it will be nice when finished. Manager avoided us. Pretty sure he spends his days getting yelled at and I didn’t want to pile on.
Motel 6's are hit-and-miss. This one was old, and the property felt run down. Our window had plywood covering the large gap above the window A/C unit. The toilet wasn't bolted to the floor. Things like the trim around the bathroom door were very poorly constructed. The bathroom didn't have a lockable door. However, our room was clean, and so was the property. The office had a human trafficking awareness poster up, and this definitely felt like the kind of place where that happens. Basically, we felt like we were staying at the cheapest option.
While the property is undergoing renovations-It was very clean. The rooms were nice with updated features. We slept great. Everything was very comfortable. My only issue was while the room we stayed was great, My car had to be parked around the corner from my room.So we couldn't keep an eye on it.Although I wasn't that worried, as there's a camera that was facing directly at my car. I worked at this motel 40 years ago when I was in high school and I must say, I'm very happy with our stay there. Everyone was wonderful.
First given a room with someone else in it. Employee quickly switched our rooms.
Older rooms, with old, non-working thermostat still in the room with new separate heater above the door and a/c in window.
No fridge, microwave, eat.
Front staff very friendly and helpful.
The room was so water damaged that bugs were crawling in under the walls and through the giant gap in the door. Any time you swept up all the bugs a whole bunch more would crawl out of the wall or under the door. The vending machines were broken and only allowed you so select from very few choices. The ice machine never worked. The pool was down for "maintenance" in 97 degree weather. The staff was nice though.

Room was clean. Staff was courteous and helpful. Pool was unusable. My biggest complaint is a $100 security deposit if paying with a debit card or cash. There should be a highly visible disclaimer.

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service
The hotel was affordable and conveniently located near where we needed to be. The staff was also friendly and helpful.
Unfortunately, there were several issues that negatively impacted our stay. There was only one person working at the front desk, which resulted in very long wait times. Our room keys stopped working during our stay, and when we returned to the front desk, we had to wait more than 20 minutes to have them reprogrammed.
The bathroom faucet also needed maintenance. The handle came off, and the faucet sprayed water around the aerator, soaking the person using the sink as well as the countertop. Since there was no other place to put personal belongings, items left on the counter would also get wet.
The lighting in the main room was another concern. There was no overhead light, and although there were three lamps, they were directed toward the floor and could not be repositioned. There were also frequent power fluctuations that caused the lamps to dim significantly every few minutes, making it very difficult to read or use the room comfortably. The light near the bathroom and the bathroom light itself worked properly.
Overall, the affordable rate, convenient location, and helpful staff were positives, but the maintenance issues, lighting problems, and long front-desk wait times made the stay less enjoyable than expected.
