Our family loved this home. It’s in a great ski in and ski out location. The home is spacious and very well equipped. We enjoyed the hot tub and fire pit with a view of the mountains.
We like to gather with our family (aged 4-80) for time together but away from home. This home was the perfect getaway: beautiful surroundings, wonderful accommodations and relaxing atmosphere. We cannot recommend it highly enough.
Really enjoyed this house in Whitefish. Very convenient to the town, the ski area base, and the West entrance of Glacier National Park.
Amenities of the house were great and loved the fire pit next to the hot tub. Plenty of space for my group of 8 adults!
Would definitely rent again.
The house was perfect for our family! Beautiful views and great location to the Mountain Resort and to Whitefish. Well equipped. We loved everything about it.
House was very clean and spacious enough for two families w/ kids. Ski in is right out the front. You have to go over a street but lesson learned. Kids enjoyed the hot tub and smores over the firepit.
This beautiful home worked perfectly for our family group of 8, ranging from an 11 year old to grandparents. Once we figured out how to manage the ski in-ski out situation, family members could come and go to the slopes very easily. The hot tub was wonderful after a day of skiing, and the indoor fireplace offered a cozy place to gather. We would definitely stay there again!
This was our family’s first trip to Whitefish, and this house could not have been more perfect! The photos don’t do it justice—every detail has been thoughtfully considered. The spacious living area, with its stunning floor-to-ceiling see-through fireplace, made for a cozy and memorable stay. The well-stocked kitchen was ideal for our private chef night, and the location was absolutely perfect. We highly recommend this cabin and can’t wait to return!
House was perfect! Skiing was amazing! The house was a great place to be for a week. We will definitely be back next year. Thanks so much for all you did Lisa.
House was perfect for our group of 8 guys. We always look for a place that is ski in/ski out and were not disappointed with this one. Plenty of room and well stocked with kitchen supplies and laundry to make our stay comfortable. The host were very responsive throughout our stay. Five stars for sure.
The house location was perfect! The house itself seemed as though things were not maintained well. Pots and pans were old (teflon peeling off), shower heads were very small, air on the first floor was not working well, coffee/espresso maker worked inconsistently, ice maker filled about two glasses, towels seemed a bit smelly even after washing them, no hot tub towels, the grill only worked in certain areas, the outdoor seating areas were not clean and the place just needed a little love, care and a few updates. The hosts were very responsive and accommodating. We honestly had a great stay, it was just the little things that needed a little more care.
Family vacation where we anticipated the National Park to be the most outstanding feature. To our pleasant surprise the property turned out to be the star of the vacation. Listing was 100% accurate for this beautiful property. The most understated part of the listing was the patio on the main level that provided awesome outdoor enjoyment in the comfort of shade from unseasonably high temperatures. The entire family was amazed by all aspects of the property.
Our family very much enjoyed staying here! Lisa was so responsive which was great! There were few issues that drove the rating down but are not necessarily reasons not to come. The location is awesome and despite the lack of snow this year we still got several good days of skiing! Thanks Lisa for all the support while we were there!
Or stay at this property was amazing. The house is nicely stocked with spices etc as well as cooking pots and pans. Bedrooms were large with very comfortable mattresses! The boot room was equipped with boot/mitt dryer which is great to do a quick dry at lunch and then again overnight. The private hot tub is right by the fire pit with great mountain views. Will definitely stay here again
The property was perfect!! Although it was 50 minutes from Glacier National Park, we had the opportunity to be in nature and build fires at night and make s’mores. A blast for the grandchildren! A quick drive to Whitefish Resort for hiking and other activities.. My family loved the vacation!! The home perfect.. spacious and plenty of private bathrooms!!! Lots of deer around the house. It was a perfect 10!!
Our family and friend gathered for skiing and birthday celebrations from around the country. This home was beautiful with all amenities we could wish for and absolutely spectacular views. The pictures and description were accurate but still did not do it justice. The kitchen was abundantly stocked with plates and glasses and cutlery as well as beautiful pieces for serving and cooking. We enjoyed the Jura coffee maker daily. This home is perfectly located for true ski in and ski out. The hosts were very responsive. Absolutely wonderful week. We would love to return in summer.
Beautiful home tucked into quiet neighborhood. Kitchen very spacious making it easy to cook every night for our group. Loved the large dining table inside and outside. Our crew loved the Patio area with grill, fire pit and hot tub. We were 2 adults with 7 teens so the Master suite sitting alone on 3rd floor was amazing. Bedrooms are good size, however only the master has a television. Our crew enjoyed the hangout space on lower level and played chess every night. We saw deer roaming the street everyday. Easy drive to Base lodge for summer activities- ziplining and mountain biking.
Every year, my husband and I take our three daughters and their significant others on a family vacation for one week. This trip to Whitefish Montana did not disappoint! Spent several days exploring Glacier National Park, rented boats for a lake day at Flathead Lake and another day at Whitefish Lake. Our youngest daughter also got engaged on this trip with the most beautiful sunset in the backdrop. Everyone had plenty of room with each having their own bedroom and bathroom. There is a wonderful patio to enjoy a cup coffee In the morning and cocktails in the evening. We used the hot tub daily and was a great way to end the day after hiking in Glacier. I highly recommend this home for your stay. The home does need to be restocked with supplies as there was only one cutting board and three kitchen towels. There also were no towels for us to use at the lake or hot tub causing us to use our bath towels which we had to wash daily. Other then that, our trip was perfect!
Our group consisted of parents plus 3 adult children and their spouses all in their 20s. Most needed to mix a little work with the fun on the slopes and in town. The work spaces and quiet areas available in the house were perfect for this group. Additionally, the WiFi/internet was consistently good and able to handle the needs of the laptop crew. Being a true ski-in/ski-out property also meant various members could come and go at various times and quickly link up with others on the slopes. However, it did take the first day to fine tune the return to the house since the small, resident only Elk Highlands lift closes at 4pm and the route from the top of that lift to the house is a little tricky at first. Returning to a roomy hot tub able to hold us all was an amazing perk. The ski room with the awesome wall sized boot and glove/mitten drier was amazing. Being able to put on warm, dry boots after lunch or in the morning is a luxury. Make sure and take time to explore the quaint town of Whitefish with its great selections of restaurants. Having real grocery stores at not-resort prices so close is quite a treat compared to other destination ski areas. Even in Winter, a day or even half day trip to Glacier NP just to see Lake MacDonald and the Apgar welcome center is recommended. A short hike (weather permitting) may even be possible. All in all, a great house with easy access to a hidden gem of a ski mountain serviced by a wonderful town.
